Single Plant Grow Chamber Setup

Setup: My setup is a new design, which I would like everyone on Grass City to test, question, innovate, destroy, what ever.

Note: This setup is designed for one large plant.

2 Flat White 2' 5gallon buckets.
2 Fans
Mylar

- For the first bucket, I cut a whole in the side so my standing fan would fit right into it. So, the incoming air is from the bottom bucket.
- I flipped over the second bucket, and cut the entire bottom off the bucket so my second fan can sit comfortably on top of the chamber sucking that hot, used air out.
- Secure the top bucket to the bottom bucket (I used duck tape).
- Secure mylar around the inside of the bottom and top buckets for maximum reflection.

I like the idea. I hadn't thought about using 5 gallon buckets to create an isolation-chamber effect. I think it would be good for growing out a male for the average closet grower. Doesn't look like it requires all that much light to keep things healthy in there. The only problem I see with your design is the lack of odor control, but you could have something else in the room, I don't know. A contraption stacked on top of the bucket or fitting on the top and connecting that to a scrubber might work very well for someone trying to grow out one plant.

I might try something similar to this when I grow out a male for pollen.

Thanks for all the input so far.

For smell, I haven't put too much thought into it yet due to the fact that I am going to begin in flowering so I can find my momma plant.

I have not looked into carbon filters too much yet. On my first full grow knowing I have a female plant is when smell will become a problem.

Anyway, you can also add in a co2 system for your plant which I am currently devising.
