hey tom-cat! I havent started my first indoor grow yet, but am in the process of constructing a cabinet and getting the ligts, vents and so on, so my advice cant be considered as the best, but is based on my extensive reading on setups. First of I have a question, what do you mean by "large" walkin closet?, some measurements of the closet would help, it will be really hard to answer your questions if we dont know the size of your setup. In my opinion I think that if the size of the cabinet is big enough to separate your clothe from the growarea this should be done, your clothes hanging ing the same area would probably mean less circulation of air in your closet, less reflection and therefore less use of your lights, and in addition to this your clothes hanging in there would probably result in really smelly clothes during the flowering period, if you would be able to grow with the clothe hanging in there at all. So I would definitely recommend that you considered separating your clothes from the grow area, if your closet is big enough you could very easily put up a separating wall inside the closet and have two separate rooms for clothes and grow. I dont believe that you would be able to get any decent grow going if you dont reconsider the arrangement of your closet, but thats just my opinion, but you might be able to prove me wrong, just think that it would be too bad for you to use energi on growing and not fully consider optinmizing your growarea, if you have the room for it, it doesnt have to be much trouble. good luck to ya.
