electrical... plugging a power strip into a heavy duty extension cord
ok so when i google this question the basic principle says do NOT plug a power strip into an extension cord... but i have seen growers do this and i'm just baffled.
for me, it would be much much more convenient if i could do this. i got an 'outdoor' heavy duty grounded extension cord (i'm not using it outdoors but it's geared to be able to do that). here are some numbers is has printed on it... 14 Gauge 15 Amp 125V does these numbers signify whether or not it's okay to plug a power strip into it?? please help me
