I've got a 10x10x8 (+or-) room, two 400W HPS ballasts and bulbs, and no need for stealth (I have a MMJ permit). I want to grow enough to keep four smokers supplied. I have experience w/ outside grows, but none with inside. I would like to have some ready every 60 days or so.
Here's a few questions :
Two rooms? Equal sizes?
CO2? Carbon air scrubber?
Soil? Hydro? Bubble buckets?
Light schedules? More/different lights?
SOG? SCROG?
What kind of yield to expect per sq. foot/cubic foot?
Best strains, given the above.
Any other advice for a novice at the indoor grow would be appreciated, and I will gladly let you know how it turns out.

CO2? Carbon air scrubber? Just exhaust it outside, it ain't like you got to be stealthy
Soil? Hydro? Bubble buckets? Hydro, Bubble Bucket all the way
Light schedules? More/different lights? veg = 24/0 flower = 12/12
SOG? SCROG? LST
What kind of yield to expect per sq. foot/cubic foot? I pull a pound+ in 42"x60"x90" room
Best strains, given the above. Get one that is easy to grow, avoid nutes sensitive strains on first grow

I would add a third room and use it for vegging/mother plant. Will you be starting with seeds or clones? If you go hydro you will need to get a pH meter and a TDS/eC meter and for soil you will need a way of measuring the pH of the run-off and for adjusting you water/nutes.

Nutes, don't use miracle grow products, Fox Farm, General Hydroponics and advance nutrients are good ones to choose from.

Soil, don't get any soil that has nutes added or has time-released nutes.
