Dorm Room...Stealth Ideas
Ok, got a friend interested in this now too. He wants to take a chance in the dorm. I've mentioned computer cases. What are some other nice and inconspicious items to build into a super small grow box? Any ideas folks?

How bout goin' to yer' local "Second Hand" shop for an old kitchen cab. they make a great lil' grow cab.....put a fish tank on top to cover the sounds.....good luck

any kind of cab with at least 48" of lenght and 3-4 feet of vertical room would be ideal. that way you can get a good set of floro's and plants going.. your not going to get much, but it should be enough for mild personal use.

have a spare closet that you can vent air out of? now your talking serious production! check out my closet set up (link my my sig) for ideas!

They are in a dorm room man not alot of room 48" is enuff room to stuff another person in there...I never had a "Spare" 4 feet in my dorm

i have a speaker its about a square foot around and 3 feet high or so, would that be a usable grow box.I only intend to grow one plant.

That will work just fine...rattle can the inside flat-white pick-up 2 -sockets like this...and 2-30 watt CFL's one "Daylight" one "Warm White"....and a 6-foot Ext. cord (we are gonna cut it up)..and we will need a PC fan ...and a "wall wart" to run it.
Do ya' have a "Goodwill" near by they are a good source for a HEPA filter for yer room.....I paid 8.99 for the last one I picked-up came home and searched it and found it for sale on the net for 249.00....makes a dorm room "Smell" so much better...lol
