so i went with a new set up for my lights, the old one was cool, and fun to build, but really impratical and took up too much room (not to mention HEAVY) and added a real carbon scrubber (at least i hope it is)





this connects to my exsisting ventilation (shown earlier in this thread)

I also rebuilt my mist cloner, and expanded it to 40 positions





I'm testing this new cloner set up so i can eventualy try out an aero SOG grow based off this diagram i made a few weeks ago



so it looks like I'll be rebuilding my room again after my current flowering session is done

Youve done a great job on your grow room. Looks like it works perfectly! One thing i notice is you are using the tin tubing from your cool tubes, i tried that, found it let out to much heat and noise, went for insulated flexible ducting .... No heat or noise, might
help?

I have just finished a major upgrade myself after a year of changes The pic of the left over equipment reminds me of the tons i had left over .. hahhaa

I need the stiffness of the flexable alum tubes, it holds my lights in place and keeps the ducting out of my way, i had some of that on the "hot side" for a while, still Have a bunch layin around, maybe i'll use it when i do my re design.

for clones?

yeah i've used it before, I usualy use it when i transplant too.


Didnt do it this time how ever, i'll check the clones tomrrow, i'm seeing some sigificant yellowing on some, which hopefuly is signaling root production (or a dieing clone, who knows)

This is my first time using cool tubes, do you think there is much lumen lost using them?

Maybe buy the insulated stuff and pull the outside insulation off and wrap it around ya tin ducts?

ahh, now there's an idea, i'll see if i can do that!

I'm sure there's light being lost there, but the gain is i can have my lights 3 inches from my canopy, thats like almost sun strength! (for the top 3 inches or so.. lol) I just have to remember to dust and clean the glass everyonce in a while.

the lights being as close as possible is a very noticable difference.

man those odorsok's are pieces of junk! I think i bought a 6inch one and i had to replace it within a month. tried washing the thing it fell apart pretty much!

it got replaced with a can 66.

how many psi is that pump your using for all six buckets?

Here it is 48 days later (the ones on the right are sativa dom Strawberry cough, I think thats why they are so tall, also the stems were split and scraped, which caused them to root MUCH faster)


I have added water twice to the clones (left over solution from my flowering plants) but other than that havent touched em.

this is a pretty "no brainer" clone set up.

Well she's finaly letting me down, I can faintly smell skunk from about 15 feet away, although (and im going to go back and count) I think i've been running this filter longer than most people flower for.

point is, this filter may be good for 1 grow, its starting to not be good on MY grow (and keep in mind I keep my 6" vortex running 24/7 so 400ish CFM, taking flow loss into account from bends etc, for how ever long Ive been growing, this could be shorten the life of the filter)

anyway, I give this filter a BIG TUMBS UP for smaller grows, but for larger scale stuff the old carbon filter can (all 200lbs of it) seems to be the better way to go.
