Hydro Setup Questions
Alright guys, well I'm finally converting and going hydro, and just had a few questions regarding the setup. First off, I'm planning on going with a system like this:
 First off, I'm a bit worried about the "pots" in this system. These are only 2-liter soda bottles with the very bottoms cut off, and I'm not sure if my plants are gonna get root-locked in there. I'm probably looking at using coconut coir as a medium and I know the roots expand pretty fast, so I'd like to know ahead of time if this is gonna be an issue. Secondly, I'm completely in the dark in terms of how often to set the water pump running. Again, I'm probably going with coconut coir and I know it dries out pretty quickly. I can't wait to start growing, and could use any advice you guys have to give. |
