Would this work as a growbox..

I'v been reading all morning and realize that it should have a bigger base but i want to kno if this will do. Im goin for a single plant grow and I have an idea what Im doin for the air intake/outake but first i need an ideal box, so let me kno what you think

Also, what type/size of light should i get for this area. The dimensions are on the pics.

just a tip if u are going to remove a shelf, screw it firmly to the base board to make the base twice as thick.
It's surprising how much they bend when they have a big fat plant sat on them.
Same goes for u drobe growers - no doubt the base is made of chipboard / mdf & they're not very strong.
A nice plant & pot will weigh 25kg +

*if it will come apart easily, dismantle it & line it with mylar using double sided tape (carpet tape)
Makes the mylar a lot easier to handle & gives a pro lookin flat mirror finish.

Might be an idea to use a low profile grow tray instead of a pot = still plenty of room for root growth, but without taking up headroom.

if u intend on growing just 1 plant, make sure u get killer feminised seeds to avoid disappointment

#but if u live in Canada, why are u doing a stealth grow???

Well, i was thinking of layering the inside with tinfoil i kno it sounds cheap but i'd do a good job of it (would this work?). Secondly, I got a clone that im going to be growing from and lastly, Its gotta be stealthy because I dont want anyone to kno about it.

So is the 9" side deep( i think its the deep side) enough for it to grow okay?

I have this fan aswell and was wondering how effective it would be, it takes up 120 volts if that makes a difference. Should i be using it for air outtake or to be pushing air in cause i also have a computer fan but i have to do the wiring where as this fan i can just plug it into the powerbar.

use the fan as an exaust, it will make a lower pressure inside the growbox, and heat will rise faster (make the exaust at the top).

to use computer fans u can use an ac/dc adapter (power brick) as long as its 12v and over 1amp or u can use a cheap computer powersupply, just connect the 2 green wires for the motherboard together.

for this area id say floro would work best, put 2 2ft floro tubes along the back corners, with the highest wattage cfls u can find at the top, id say at least 2 45w. (u can get sockets and dual socket adapters at homedepo real cheap)

also using a tray will help ALOT to, u can get ur plant bigger and it will make them more stable, but still go for one about 5 inches deep.
