103degrees F need help

My growroom atm is poorly ventilated, I have a fan sitting in it just blowing air around but no exhaust so my temp is at like 103 in the soil and 100 in the cabinet air, I see a lot of people with their ventilation systems and get confused on how they wire all the computer fans and what not, if anyone could give me some links on how to wire the fan and where to buy all the necessary supplies to do it. Thanks wish I could show pics but I have no camera 8(.

well t start i had the same thing for a few weeks and it nearly killed mine... they are on the rebound at the moment so im sharing what i did. i got a simple 63 CFM fan on ebay for $30. It came ready for a wall outlet. i know cpu fans are cheaper, but im not an electrician and fire hazzard is all i can say. If you dont know how to do it, pay a lil more and let someone else do it for you.

also search about CO2 generators. they are easy to make and simply require a soda bottle, sugar, warm water, and yeast. they provide the plant with extra CO2 needed to withstand higher temps. its like having an oxygen bottle on you in the desert

Hi Capt. Cannabis like you i was also very unsure with wiring of computer fans.Trust me it's nothing. This is a post that i put in fellow grower's journal.Just ignore the junction box stuff if just doing one fan.

With your computer fan wires, strip them down to bear wire about 1”. As you can see in this pic the wires are colored. The red is live and the black is negative

Tie the wires together (depending how many fans you have.

Making sure the red is with the red and the black with the black.
Next get your adapter wires, again strip them about 1”.Now I don’t know if this is the case with your adapter wires but you may notice one of them has a white strip down the middle. This is the live wire.

Connect this to the red computer wires and the and the other to the other computer wires.

Now in your junction box you may see something similar to this.

Place the live and negative wires in separate connection points.

Secure tightly and close and you should end up with something like this

If when you plug it in and it’s not working try swapping the adapter wire around.
Hope all this helps

tbh m8 - computer fans are really only usefull for intake fans as thay are not powerfull to suck / blow air through a filter.
In flowering u Will need filtration. Underpowered fans will kill ur crop - or at least raise humidity to budrot levels

Agreed, wouldn't use the fans for extraction, just not powerful enough for the common closet grow. But they are perfect for small veg or clone boxes.
Just made this one up the other day.Good luck
