no. this grow box will be in a closet. i only put that there b/c i once
read that keeping roots warm was a good idea. it may have been for clones though i dont remember. again this is just a rough draft

The lights and equipment should throw enough heat to keep everything pretty toasty in there, unless you are putting in a really cold basement or in an unheated portion of the house I would not bother with heating.
Weed is pretty adaptable, as long as you are not subjecting it to any extremes, it should be fine.
When germinating, it is more of an issue keeping it warm and moist. other than that the heat thrown from lights and equipment are enough.
