grow room set up

hey everyone new grower here tryin to set up my room.
so i'm usin the crawl space in my bed room against the wall which are angled at about 30 degrees giving me about 3 feet in height and 2 feet depth. I have a 400 watt hps for a bubble bucket which i plan on puttin 6 plants in then taking out the males. since this closet will be closed most of the time what should i do about ventilation?

hi! I have a 400w hps box too and the temps are really tough to cool down. I have a good exaust and a good intake and still have some heat probs. do you plan to have a air cooled hood? because you can't keep your plants closer than 6 inches of the light, and i'm really generous with 6''. try to have the smallest plants and don't wait to force flower them because they will out grow the box.
You absolutely need an exaust fan or you will get an oven in your room.

You don't really have enough hieght for a 400hps. Consider that your container is going to be 12", your light will require 8"-10" or so and you will need to keep the light no closer than 6"(with some supper cooling setup) otherwise add another 6" and that leaves only 12" for your plant. Go with fluoro.
