I re-did my vents and blower set-up six times. I always underestimate how hot it gets in the summer here. I can't draw air from inside my home. If I don't cool my 400w bulb the room will get over a 120 degrees on a cool day.

My advice is "over-kill the hell out of your ventilation system". You can always add a dimmer switch

Hey. IM in the basement. It stays quite cool down there even when its 100 out side . Do you still think Ill need a major cooling set-up

Your 500 degree lamp will turn that cool basement into a EZ-Bake oven.

A bit late on gettin back to ya. I let 2 lights run for about an hour in a 8/8/8 It stayed right at 70. with no air flow, no cooling .nothin. This is in response to temp, in my basement grow.

Just remember you need a constant supply of fresh air.

Hey man really nice setup... looks like you get really good results every time.

If you could please go into some detail as to how you have the two grow buckets and resovoir connected together. I can't get a good look at the plumbing from the pictures you posted.

I'm guessing you use some flexible tubing to make setting it all up and breaking it down easier? Black to keep out the light or clear to see all the junk floating at the bottom?

When you go to change out your water do you care about the little bit thats left below the drains, or do you suck it out with something

Also, when you're recirculating your water before taking a ph reading, are you only using one pond pump for all 3 buckets? If so how do you have that connected?

Rump, I know you've grown with 2 buckets and 3 buckets in the closet. When you grew with 3 did you have a res or did you treat each individually? In your opinion is it worth the trade off to lose the third bucket in favor of a res for the sake of easier maintainability?

I would love to grow in all three, but I am limited in space. It is so cramped I yeild less doing three. I had no reservoir doing three. I still like to hook them together so I can fill at one bucket and they all go to the same level.

Thanks boss, how big is your closet's dimensions... I can't seem to find those specs in the thread? I feel that mine is very similar to yours in space, and I'm about a week away from needing to make my decision.

Did you find you yielded less because of the extra training/management efforts, or simply because the third ate into too much of the first two's space?

Oh and another question. What model pH/TDS sensors are those? It seems like your one meter connects to all of your buckets through the sensors, and I'm looking for something similar. And how much did it cost?

I'm not using that meter anymore, it crapped out on me and I gave it away. I just use a hand help one now.

Thanks Rump... dunno if you missed the post before that, but whats the closet size... and did you find your yield was less because of the added effort for the third bucket or simply because it took up too much space?

I got more grade A bud from two in my tight space. The yeild was about the same but lots of the three bucket grow was lower grade bud.

Thanks again... how much time did you buy on the nute changing process with the reservoir? I've always done a 10-14 day nute flush and replaced nutes. With a reservoir how much longer do I have to change the nutes?

FYI I've been using the LUCAS formula with the pH'd water add-back same as you for the last 2 grows.
