cabinet/light/ventilation/soil/nute question
i have a few questions about cabinets. i am looking to be able to have a mother, being grown with fluorescent tubes, it will go cool, warm, cool, warm and i am looking to be able to have enough room to be able to grow a few clones in there aswell. i would like to be able to split the cab in half, half for the mother and clones, other half to flower the clones after they grow up a little bit. how wide and tall should my cab be for this? on the flowering side i would like to get a 150-200w HPS to flower the clones. is it possible to light proof the two halves and be successfull in having a veg/flower in one box?
im not very good at ventilation and i dont want this thing to be noisy, so i was thinking 2x 120mm 9v computer fans on each side? what kind of small fan can i use in each half to circulate the air?
i would have the intake fan near the bottom by where the pots would sit, and the exhaust fans up by the lights. im no electrician, so can anyone tell me how hard it would be to wire in the fluorescent tubes? i think at the hardware store i saw ones that can plug into a normal outlet, and i think HPS's can plug into normal outlets aswell, but im not sure so maybe somebody can clue me in.
which brand HPS is cheap, good and not so pricey? how much would a cabinet be? how much for all the soil and nutrients? also, which soil is best? i hear good things about foxfarm nutrients aswell but maybe somebody can reccomend some other ones. by the way i have about 250-300$ to spend so im on quite a tight budget... i would like the cost to be as low as possible.
