The best way ive seen was 3 boxes all at different stages and different kinda lights, it was SOG and the dude was pulling a few ounces every few weeks.

One box had 400 watt HPS and some fluro's for his clones. next box had a 600watt HPS for vegging and the next box was larger and had two 400 watt MH lights.

Crazy good bud and he ALWAYS had pot, along with all the hash he was constantly makeing from the shake he'd save up.

That was enugh pot to get him as high as he wanted every day and always have pot.

but let me relate the story.
i used to teach guitar way back when. more often than not, kids moms would buy them electric guitars, amps, peddles, special picks, everything a pro needs. but the only problem is that they were NOT pro's. they were WAY over their heads with equiptment and never worked on the real fundimentals that they needed, meaning they couldnt play the shit. they spent all their time fucking around with the equiptment and no time with the basics of actually learning the neuances of the guitar. hence, they never learned the guitar but just made noise. i think u are going down the same pathway.

damn froggy you burned him.....i agree with alot of what your saying....but if your lucky enough to have all that money and you want to grow, then more power to ya...i am doing my first indoor grow, and i started with a $100 wood cabinet and a $100 cfl, then i got my tax returns so i bought a 400w hps (with a mh conversion bulb) and a hydro hut original....after this grow, i plan on getting a fully automated co2 injecion system...right now i just use excellofizz tabs. aero is not any harder then hydro or soil, you just got to check your plants more often and closer time intervals together but all the technique is the same. i am using aero for my first ever indoor grow, and i'm doing fine....i'm not claiming to be a pro, but its not rocket science, plus if you have a problem, just post it on here and someone will help.

but even know you wanted to buy all that stuff, if you spent a couple of hours looking around online you could have probably gotten exactly the same setup for at least $1000 less. when i decided to buy the hydro hut and a 400w hps light, i looked on ebay and about 10 different online stores, until i found a light i liked with a price i liked.

180 for 6 light hangers
500 for 2 centrifigul fans
50 for air cooled hose
500 for seeds all feminized
200 for containers
500 for soil
200 for a carbon filter
150 for sound muffler
Which tallies up 2 a little over 5k...

Think its a bad investment?

thats 72 plants in 72 square feet. 50 watts a square foot...
lets say each plant yields 2.5 ounces each ... thats a total of $50,000 worth of bud in a 4 month period.

so why dont u guyz stop getting jeoulous about having a lifetime supply of bud and grow some ballz and do the same


I love growing and since my last grow yielded 24 ounces from 8 plants which is 3 ounces a plant per square foot, i think i can pull something off a little more spectacular.

I have experience now yes, but i think that if i did something huge the first time, i would have been just as successful...

my suggestion is to up the ante on the number of plants. a plant per square foot is perfect. When they get to 18" tall, just throw it to 12/12 and u wont be disappointed.
You will make DOUBLE THE amount you invested as long as you give them the proper care.

Ya this is why its posted in grow room designs, Sorta like the lottery you can only wish unless you win it. Sorta like make it and plan things later on instead of just blowing 6 gs on your first set up.

grow room designs are about discussing future advents. These are sophisticated designs that go beyond the personal consumption needs.

Needless 2 say, 6000 is NOT alot of money when your return revenues are at $50,000. Even after all expenditures, there is a potential 40,000 to make as PROFIT!
So why not suck it up and take the hitt for 6k. You would have to be dee dee deeeeeeee to NOT break even regardless of whether its your first time around or not.
As for all that environmental microcontroller crap, those are only accesories to regulate ideal conditions...

Enough bickering. How bout helping a brotha out? Anyone know of any irrigation systems that will irrigate every 72 hours? The irrigation system needs to be capable of irrigating 72 plants every 72 hours. It needs to be robust and capable of supplying water efficiently. Im lookin around online but to no avail.

I plan on getting a few 55 gallon drums to get the setup to be completely independent of human interaction for 2 weeks at a time.
When flowering, ill change the nutrient composition in the drums but i still need a pump or something that will turn on for a few minutes every 72 hours... Is that asking 2 much?!
