I expect good volume ... Can't even estimate the PPP bush though.. It's the biggest plant I had in the closet yet

wonder how tough it would be to scrog 2 -4 different strains and being able to keep their canopies somewhat even. PS that PPP is as dank of a bud pic as i've seen anywhere.. very very nice postman! That bud is so pretty it's prally gonna be hard to chop up and smoke. | |

With my closet being rectangle 5-6ft x 22in I think it would be next to impossible to run a variety strain scrog. I'd have to run the shoots more left to right, and I'm thinking without having that front to back space I'd be forced into growing the strains into each other. I'm thinking with differing flower times amognst the strains it'd be a bitch to remove them at diffeerent times from the screen. If you did have the room to devote a piece of screen for each strain, and where somehow able to keep them seperate, and remove parts of the screen as each strain finishes... Then i don't see why it couldn't be done. Maybe you should put some thought into designing a modular screen LOL.. One you can remove sections from without having to remove, and take down the whole screen.. I'm sure with the pvc pipes something like this would be really easy to design I know the majority who try scrog do so with clones, so they will have similar growth, similar finishing time, and it's just a matter of cutting them all out of the screen when done. As for the PPP... If it had the sweeter, fruitier tastes I preffer, it would certainly be the 1. But it doesn't , so right now I'm keeping mommas of PPP, and gf x nl which has more the sweeter taste i'm looking for. These two are my "chosen" strains as low and behold, now that I'm growin I have much more appreciation for the sativa dom highs. They will be the fems I knock up as soon as I can. I'm searching for an extermely sweet/fruity strain.. Once I find one with the taste I preferr, good growth characteristics, and potency I'm selecting males, and doing a few crosses. In my small space it would take 10+ years to weed through the f1, and stabilize, but I'm hoping out of the f1's I'm able to find something a little more suiting to my taste buds, which I'll clone and enjoy for a long, long time ...Right now I have two c99 x c88/white widow (cindy princess) males just about ready to drop pollen.. I got the males before I could test females of this strain, so really don't know what I got here LOL.. Talk about ass backwards breeding lol., but i'm starting to grow out the males, and harvest the pollen. With my lack of space I had to take advantage of the males when i had the space to do so, and it worked out . I'll try to get a few fems from this strain next round to test out taste/high/potency, and growth before chuckng the pollen . But I'm going to put some effort into creating my own personal Holy Grail..

Sorry about that. I remember now you asked me this in PM, and I never got back to it. I think for the most part my dry, and cure process is the same, if not very similar to the basic methods used. I trim up the buds first, and then hang the larger buds, and lay the smaller stuff down on a medal grate. My dry rack is in my growing room so temps are around 75 during the day, dipping down at night to around 70. Humidity is never higher then 40-45% in the room. I dry them on the rack for around 4-5 days or until the outside of the bud are crisping up, but the inside is still a little moist. At this point I place them loosely into brown paper bags to slow the drying process a little bit, but still allow air cirrculation to keep it from molding. I check them daily, and turn the bag over so the buds on the bottom are now on top.. Once the stems snap, or you hear a snap when you bend them, and they 'seem' almost dry enough to smoke they are ready to be placed into the glass jars.. I place them into the glass mason jars loosely (at this point they are crispy on the outside). I open the jars every 24 hours, and for the first few days the buds will feel moist upon opening the jar. This I call the sweating process as it will remove the deep down moisture/crap out of the buds.. If the buds are moist upon opening the jar, I leave it open until the buds are again crispy on the outside, and then seal it back up.. I Keep on opening daily, and if moist upon opening I leave it open until again crispy.. Once the buds are no longer moist upon opening the jar it can pretty much stay sealed up, and packed away in cure for a long time. |

I picked up a new strain. Another East Coast Sour diesel hybrid (Montels Pride x ECSDv3 from AnnaC) to go with my (ECSD x Williams Wonder from RezDog).. I'll start running my diesel crosses as soon as my flowering space clears up in 60-70 days hehe.. I'll be taking them from seed to flower inside the flower closet vegging them under a my 400mh conversion, and then the 400hps + 270 hps for flower. I've been waiting paitently for a taste of the Diesel Hopefully I can find something nice out of these hybrids.A little about the MP (AnnaC) Montels' Pride The base strain I used began with a Oaxacan landrace strain(mexican Sativa) that I have been growing since the late 80's. I took a female and crossed it to a male AK47. I stabliized it by breeding the seeds back to each other. I took those seeds and chose my best male & female from the grow and pollinated again. I repeated the process one more time to Soma's # 10 Lavender. From those seeds I picked a male and female and bred it to each other once more. It is one of the fastest growing (mostly)sativas I have ever had the opportunity to grow. Flowering Time = 59-65 days. Sour Diesel Breeder: Reservoir Seeds Winner, High Times Plant of the Year, 2005 Multiple-Winner, IC Magazine Cup, 2005 This is the final step in bringing you the Perfect Representation of the World-famous Sour Diesel Clone, in seed form. The Special Parents were chosen, and the seeds are finally done! The Sour Diesel Project's taken close to three years of focus, and the results will do nothing short of astonish true cannabis conneseiurs, the world over. The flowertime's approximately 75 days, indoors, and depending on geography, your outdoor Sour Diesel may take a bit longer to finish-or perhaps a be bit quicker, depending on how equatorial you are! The yield of the original Sour Diesel Clone has been dramatically improved upon, and the from-seed vigor that the clone is lacking is downright explosive in these Sour Diesel seeds! We reccommend serious odor control with all Sour Diesel genetics, including related hybrids, as the reek of these beauties is permeating, even brick walls are no match for her power! The high is soaring, psychedelic, and at times, completely out-of-control. This is The Original Sour Diesel, now available for anyone, not just a well-connected few, to grow....and it's My Pleasure bringing it to you, the Informed Grower. |

Hey Postman, question for yah. My 10.0 UVB light came in today and when I turned it on, it is quite dull. I checked a few hours later and it looks the same so it wan't just a warmup thing. I can stare at it for as long as I want. With my regular CFLs it feels like my eye is going to burn out after a few seconds so.. not sure Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if yours looks this way as well, or if I need to turn in this bulb for a new one.

If the IBL is anything like the SD I smoked back in the day it will be a keeper for sure. AnnaC seeds look really interesting too, considering you can no longer get BOG genetics in F1s. I sure hope they all germ healthy, will be sending positive energy your way MP, I'm subscribed to this one for the long run.

It should light.. If your in a dark room you should certainly see that the bulb is on, but the visual light it gives off is minimal compared to a bright white cfl. The reason for this is a good portion of that bulbs energy is going to produce ultraviolet/UVB spectrums which of course is out of our visual spectrums. Do not stare straight into these bulbs.. Although they give off a fraction of what the sun does, it is ultaviolet, and not the best for our eyes to be staring into.. I would like for someone with one of those pc microscopes to try these bulbs, and get pics of the trichomes.. The trichomes on my hashberry plant looked close to exploading today LOL..
