Thanks man. I'm happy with the 1 1/4 don't get me wrong, and the smoke is incredible!! Knowing that it was grown from local mids makes me very happy indeed. I mean some of the strains I'm growing have been worked on extensively to make it potent, stable, and high quality. The crystal content of some of these strains is awesome. The nirvana NL has increased quote a bit in the last week, and the buds leaves have visual long stemmed trichomes.. Very nice.. And the Ice plant "forget about it"(Donny Brasco voice).. Can't see the calyx beneath the coating of the crystals. Actually most are covered like that.. maybe the addition of UVB to the grow closet worked.

The auto pot I bought off a buddy, but you can get them at www.futuregardens.com. It is a very simple way to grow hydro without all the pumps, air stones, and all that stuff. You can use anything as a growing medium really. Doesn't have to be hydro. I used a 50/50 soil/perlite mix this round, and everything went well. I was using organics which clogged my valve, and caused it not to flood for a day. That was the extent of my problems with the system, and it was really my fault feeding with all those orgonics, and letting sediment sit in the res.. If you use liquid karma which is good stuff, I would be sure to dump out whatever little bit is sitting in the bottom the res when refilling the res. What happeneds was I was leaving that down there, and just dumping new ferts in, and with the organics there is some heavier larger particles which fall out of solution.

Alright it's time for a little update. Remember that Pure Power Plant I planted, and grew right along with my clones.... I was taking a gamble, and just planted 1 seed in hopes of adding a new variety?.?. Well I hit the jackpot!! It was outgrowing my veg area, so I transplanted, and placed it in the spot of local clone I harvested, and IT'S A GIRL!! A few hairs starting to push out!! I'm going to take a clone or two, and continue to flower it.. As I harvest more I'll be transplanting all the NL, Ice clones I did not select as mothers into the flower chamber, and will be flowering them out along side the ppp.. I'll have a few smaller plants next round as I prepair for a East Coast Sour Desiel X Williams Wonder seed grow. from seed to flower in the closet under my 400 mh, and 400 hps.

Below are pics the day before I transplanted, and did a little LST before the stretch..

Looking good right? I planted her into Fox Farms forrest blend, and added a little course perilite, and worm castings. I started feeding her light doses of pure blend pro soil formula, along with some Liquid Karma, and Sweet. Sweet is a new addition to my feeding routine. It's provides carbohydrates, and natural sugars which supposed to increase taste, and resin production. I figured it couldn't hurt any, and there is no chemicals in it-All natural.

Now on to a few others pictures.. I took a couple shots showing the NL crystal content, and a couple full plant shots as well.. Enjoy


irst picture was of my Mandala seeds Sadhu. I'd say it has about another week left. Already getting some yellowing of the leaves as she is using up stored nitrogen, and some of the trichs have turned amber.. I'd say right about 25% Amber. I already took a tester bud, and it was extremely dense.. This plant is smaller, but I'm thinking it will still be a good yield for it's size.. It's like a ball of buds.. The plant was flowered early to sex, and never went back to veg all the way.. It was incredible though.. Kept right on pushing out growth shoots which are now buds... I had to do some lst and spread the two main buds out to get light down to the lower buds.. it was so dense with growth it was hard for light to penetrate.

Crystals up the ying yang.. This bud tastes like trix cereal, or fruity pebbles, and I got that taste from a quick dried uncured prmature bud LOL.. This one is going to be good too.. Growth leaned on the sativa side with some stretch, but the buds are dense, and covered with long stemmed trichomes. Check out that white bal of crystals on the right side of the pic.. Some of the calyx's are covered to that degree of crystals


Thge ice buds looking good.. I know someone else gorwing ice on day 74 now, so I'm thinking mine may still have some time to go


The durban poison is coming along nicely.. i did take, and dry a sample bud this week. It was very good, but from the looks of the trichomes it still has a bit longer to go. I'm thinking by 60-65 days she'll be coming down



Hashberry is coming along nicely.. Buds are fattening up, and it's starting to yellow a bit. I'm thinking right around 65 for hashberry. Buds are extremly dense.. i'm thinking this will be one of my nicer yielders



C99 x Blueberry. I'm thinking I may have to take that big top bud, and let the others finish up a bit more. It's looking extrmely dank, and that one fat bud is awesome! I can't wait to get that sucker on the scale.. That is going to be one hell of a dank sativa bud



Some pics of the dried local clone. What I harvested off the plant yielded 28 grams dried, and in the week prior to harvest I took a sample a little less then 10 grams. So local yield was about an 1 1/4 ounce. Not bad really.. I mean I could have let it go a bit longer, and with all those dam tops it had it was nice they got as big as they did. This plant bounced arounf a bit.. i took a clone, and had a few differnt veg set ups in that time. also the clone was taken pretty well into flower so it had to grow out all those buds leaves, and took some time to get back fully into the veg cycle.. I still have many seeds of this stuff, so for now I'll be saying good bye to the lemon head as I experiment with other strains.. the taste is simply incredible.. I may just sprinkle some lemon head into my other danker joints for that sweet taste I love so much..

I know I should stick to NL if I want a small stealthy grow, but I cant resist that Hashberry.

Would 2 plants work good in SCROG in Stacked Rubbermaid containers?

Hashberry is not very stinky at all.. I mean the whole closet as a strong scent of mj, but this plant is no more stinky then average plants in flower.

Depending on the size of the bins Either would work in scrog. I think overall hashberry has been the easiest plant to grow. My NL was sativa dominate, and much harder to control in my confined space. May just be the pheno I got as I'm not very familar with growing NL. I don't totally understand what you mean by one stacked on the other.. If you mean two tubs stacked on top with a screen in the middle, and fluorescents in the upper bin that would be a really neat grow .. Gonna need some decent air circulation though to keep temps down.

Couple updates. I actually cut the first 6 inches of bud off my c99 x Blueberry. While the rest of plant is a bit premature my large bud on top was very ripe . It's looks like some damn good bud that's for sure.. The pics below are of a dried smaller piece, and the large fat 6 inch bud I clipped from the top.. Everything is finishing up rather quick now. I'm thinking some of them can be harvested anyday, but I'm just waiting for a bit moe trichomes to go amber before pulling the majority..


First pic is of that big 6 in chunk I took from the top bud. Not a very hairy bud huh?? very dank and crystally though.. I love the way some of those sativa buds just run, and stack calyx's.. makes trim up a breeze.

WooHoo My Mandala seeds Sadhu, and my Spice Of Life cinderella Blues (C99 x Blueberry) have been harvested!!!

Sorry to say, but I only have pics of Sadhu during harvest. The C99 x Blueberry will be picturd once dried, but I still got a few nice shots of pieces that I picked, and dried this week as testers. Both plants were taken down at 62 days flower.

The Sadhu plant I grew was very small, and dense. When I first started the closet growing I was given 5 free seeds of Sadhu with my first seed order, and figured what the hell I'd plant a few.. Well space was tight, and I tried to sex my sadhu early to get rid of males, and I guess I may have waited to long to get it back into veg.. Well anyway it stayed very short, and it grew out the bud sites that were already started once put back into veg. The growth though was unreal.. I never tried reveg a plant, but what happened is the bud sites grew out a bit, and new growth shoots were very tight together. I mean very dense... This plant had like no stretch at all when placed into flower, so it stayed short, and extremely dense. Besides the dense growth pattern the buds were as hard as ROCKS as well.. Next time I grow out sadhu I will NOT try to sex early.. I will grow out, and grow a little larger before flowering as it has very little if any stretch. None the less even with some slight error due to space issues I'm pleased with this plant.. The smoke is POTENT!!



Picture below is a scale shot of trimmed wet buds. The week prior I took two of the largest buds, and dried them for a total of 7.6 dry weight. Those buds will be added to this once dried for a total dry weight.. I'm not sure exactly how much weight is lost in the drying process, but I'm figuring 3/4 of that is water weight. So I'm figuring 80 wet, should be ~20 grams~ dry, plus the 7.6 dry buds I already harvested, and I'm looking at about 3/4 - 1 ounce of SOLID Sadhu buds . This was my smallest sized plant in stature, but it still weighed more then my C99 x bb which I don' have pics of . They came out all to dark....... Wet weight of that plant was 77 grams, but I had already harvested, and dried 8 grams... So at least an ounce off that plant as well.. I'm thinking I will just about hit my 1 ounce per plant estimate.

Picture of an already dry Sadhu bud. I could never find buds this good locally. Some of these buds I'm harvesting are the best buds I ever smoked in my life.. I'm a very happy man right around now.. Even with 6 grams of my lemon head flushed down the toilet... I won't even get into that. But still very happy




On another note Durban posion x Skunk may be oming down today at 63 days.. We;ll see how she is looking.. Trichomes are taking time to change on that plant.. i mean by all visual appreance it looks done, but trichomes are holding out cloudy-clear not many amber.. MAybe that's why it's such a good wake and bake strain.. Nice and clear headed high.

Also my PPP is going awesome. It is undergoing a good sativa stretch, but hairs are starting to push out all over her... I will also be repotting my clones, and placing whichever I'm not holding back as a mother into the closet to flower them out. So next round will be ICE, Northern Lights, and my PPP female... I will flower these out, and then start a new grow in the closet from seed for the fall and winter months. That grow is going to consist of mostly East Coast Sour Deisel x Williams Wonder, and maybe ak-48.. I'm looking for that round to consist of my most potent strains. Maybe white rhino as well as that is supposed to be some kill smoke.


Couple nice shots of the C99 X Blueberry Bud I dried. I have never had a bud like this in my life. I mean I saw buds like this in pics, but never smoked one myself. I'm taking it the bud development of this is Sativa??? Long running, spear shaped, stacked calyx.. very easy trim job. Most the buds around here for sale are commercial indicas or hybrids grown mostly for profit. I could never understand harvesting a lot of second rate buds.. I mean just the risk alone would have me trying to get the best buds possible off my own plants..

Yeah it looked like you were going to get more weight than that per plant. They turned out very nice. I can't wait to see the PPP.

From weeks 3 flower on I believe they were under 400 hps. It's only my second round in the closet, but 1 strain the local I grew in both, and bud density did not differ to much fromt he 250, and this round finishing up under the 400.. I said good bye to that strain so we will never know the full test of flowering it out fully under the 400

As far as weight goes I was pretty good with my estimate of 1 oz. per plant. I had 7 plants packed in there pot to pot, and the whole grow took place in less then 3.5 months from seed to harvest at 62 days of the oldest plant. I'm also harvesting in what seems smallest to largest so far with my three larger plants being Hahsberry-durban posion-Ice. Maybe I'm thinking I'll get more then an ounce from each which should put me over my estimate, and make up for the smaller. All in all 7 ounces in less then 4 months I'l take it. That would have put such a dent on my pocket in the local market.. forget it I couldn't even get anything half this good for $400 an ounce who'm I kiddin. It's just not available here.

Now that I got a good stash of premo buds.The rest will finish up fully.

It only goes up from here Now that I got my proper lighting, and feel for growing indoors I'll pull harvests 10+ when I start using my hieght. Plants I'm taking down now where no taller then 20 inches. I got one more smaller harvest as I weed my clones, and then I'll be taking advantage of my mh 400, 5ft hieght, and fill my closet

For next round I get to take care of a few lights leaks. Get my self a good air purifier or something LOL, and I'm going to be making a giant auto pot tray I think. I like the way it takes the worry out of watering, or getting to the closet to water every day. Plus my ice, and NL did very well in that system this round, and it was very simple. I'm planning on using the same smart valve, but flood a much larger space.. i just need to make or get some kinda light proof tray, so I don't get algea and crap fromt he light hitting the water... Any ideas? It really only needs be a 2-3 inch high flat tray with something to cover it, and sink pots down into.

Update to the grow. Well I finally got my clones repotted. wheew bout time LOL.. I can them crammed in those dixie cups for quite a while. I chose 1 Ice, 1 NL, and 1 durban posion x skunk. The clones I did not select as my mothers I'm going to go ahead, and add them to the closet as I harvest these plants.. Once I get these small clones out of the way I'll be able to grow from clone under my 400 mh, and flower under my 400 hps.. I'll try sea of green, maybe scrog etc. in time.

So right now it looks like my next little grow will be the 5 clones I did not select 2 Ice, and 3 NL, and also the PPP plant I started from seed, and which is now just about done with a good stretch. This plant does very well with topping, and fimming, and although the short veg time I think this one will yield very well if all goes well.


I will be adding the first ice clone above into flower as another plant is harvested leaving me 3 moths 1 Ice, 1 NL, 1 dp x skunk.. I will eventually repot one moe time into 2.5 gallon pots, and that is where they will have to stay as mothers producing me clones under cfl lighting.


These clones were not selected as mothers, and will be going into flower now that a few plants have been harvested


Here she is!!! Not nearly the little girl she used to be when I put her in a week ago.. Lots of growth, and a good stretch which worked out fantastic with moderate LST. She was just repotted before placing into flower so I'm kinda waiting a few days before I readjust the LST ties.


All the clones were tranplanted into Fox Farms Ocean Forrest Blend. I added 8 dixie cups of ff soil, 1 cup of worm castings, 1 cup of perilite, and 1/2 cup vermiculite and repotted my clones. I made a light grow mixture of 6ml pure blend grow, 6ml liquid karma, 3 ml cal/mag, 5ml sweet for my mothers, and fed the ones going into flower moderately with pure blend pro bloom 9ml, cal/mag plus 3ml, liquid karma 6ml, and sweet 5ml per gallon.

Also an update on my other plants.. it's looking durban posion x skunk most likely will be next within the next 2 days, then hashberry, NL, and last but not least ice.. Here are a few pics of the hashberry at day 63

Most likely the Ice or Northern lights as I let them grow more natural. I'll get back to you with the total hieght from the top of the pot to the top of the plants. To be honest these two were my youngest going into flower, but they leaned a bit sativa in growth, and stretched quite a bit in flower. These were also the plants grown in the auto pot system
