Advice Please

hey guys i havent been here in ages. well ive been sortin out my growin and im startin my first grow journal. no need for advice on that i know. im not new to growin but this is my first indoor grow and i would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how decent it is. i am using a 6 foot tall 3 foot wide and deep wardrobe,i have white mylar and shiny (correct terminology?!?!) mylar, i have 1x400w hps and 1x nebula with 2 cfl red spectrum bulbs and 2 blue. i am growing super skunk from nirvana seed bank.i only have one growin at the mo as i wanted to know if im doin things right. temp usually stays around 75-80f i mist the plant with weak organic nutes every couple of hours, and it is 2 weeks into an 18/6 shedule.....................pics.................. ....

Looking good but would grow much better under MH instead of HPS

theyd grow better under mh? i thought mh was primarily used during bloom and flowering cycles? ah well my ballast can handle both..i may buy a mh bulb and try it out then.but as far as you can see it looks ok?

Yes looks ok..

Metal Halide (white / blue light) is for growing... HPS (yellow light simulating sunset) is for flowering.

Trust Dier...he's right in my book. I've been doing some serious research and although you can grow using HPS or even CFL's, the plants will respond better with MH as your growing vehicle and HPS for flowering since you will be putting it into 12/12, just like as if it were outside.

cheers guys i appreciate the response like.. well i must admit i didnt know that! ahh all the things that can be learned from the city. lol. well i think ill stick to hps and cfl's for this grow just as an experiment and then try with an mh bulb instead, next time i plant..uhh im gonna be tryin my best to keep this jounal going at the mo but i may be in some quite deep shit. "APPARENTLY" (no credible evidence), some guy found out i was growin and he gave the fuzz the heads up and whats worse is they know me cos i got busted for smokin only last week. plus the guy has made allogations that i have child pornogrophy on my computer. which i would like to reassure you all is extremley UNFOUNDED and UNTRUE. (im 21 for gods sake.) so i MAY have to quit while im ahead till the heat dies down but if at all possible im stayin growin and with the journal. thanks again for responses guys. karma +++

HIGH All, bummer about someone knowing just_blaze_it and nice to see you back.....me I just use HPS from beginning to end Also and my babies don't seem to mind..which ever works best for you is the best...

hey unoit..yeh i know it sucks dont it? i mean child porn? cant believe someone would accuse me of that. well im gonna stick to hps for this grow(so long as i dont get busted lol) and maybe try mh next time. also unoit...trust me i know you use hps all the way through....the grows of the likes of you and sidious were what pushed me towards indoor. i just couldnt believe it when i saw what those lights could do in expierenced hands! more pics in a couple o days.

right guys....i really need help here...turns out that the allogations have been made and the drugs squad are "monitoring" the situation. i need to know what they monitor...im moving lights plants and everything to do with growing out of my house for a good while..but can they track credit card purchases i have made in the past? cos i ordered that hps in the pics only a week ago..and nutes...or have i just gotta lie low for a couple weeks/months? really need help on this one as i really feel im on my own here.

i cant say for sure what they can/cant do especially in the uk but man better to be safe than sorry...if you have any kind of prior and get busted even with one plant it could be bad, just play it safe for a while unless you're an old ass man you have plenty of time to grow no need to risk it now

and nothing against old ass men...i'm gonna be one someday

you could always just start growing some tomatos or something. That explains the lights and nutes. Just get rid of ur plants and fuck that guy up for being a narc. narcs suck.

I like the tomatoes idea...just get a few of those and stash the pot plant at a friends house or something for awhile. Then when the cops show up, you can show them the tomatoes or peppers or whatever and say, "Yeah, if that snitch bastard found out I had a light, he probably assumed I was growing weed but as you can see, I like fresh veggies, Officer!"

hey guys. well my sister has said she will take care of my babies for a while so ive dropped everything off at her place. thanx so muxh for the advice guys..i particularly liked the idea of the tomatoes..lol.. and thanx lucian..you always put a funny twist on things. as for the narc..hes gonna get done for supplying false evidence cos there will be NOTHING here...not evena sheet of mylar.. and i think im gonna send an 8-ball and a sock in the direction of his face..yeh that should satisfy.lol. well pics of my babies as soon as im up and running again.

cops came round yesterday...found absoloutley nothing..were very happy and told me i didnt have to worry about any further investigation...i even put the nutes in the garden shed...btw fogot to mention.. im using earth juice grow..top max bloom stimulator and bio-bloom flowering soloution. the cops said that the narc had been found out that he had no evidence and he was making the allogations just to spite me...so i got my babies back now and theyre lovin it..pics when the lights come on..
