i dont have pics yet.

- my grow space is a closet- 400w hps /+ 2 fluoros. i run two fans- one ionic generator , the other 12v comp exhaust fan blows out.
my avg temp is 95 F. its pretty high i know, ive bought some online fans but until then im just keepn one of the doors open.

- anyone have ideas to cool it down more..

...in the following days/week ill post pics if these seedlings come through.

HIGH All, make sure your Ballest is outside the closet and if you can find a way to bring Fresh air in it would be best for your little ones.

Perhaps the little 12V computer fan isn't enough... hard to say though since they come in different sizes and I don't know what kind you're using. But like I have about 120W of light in a bird-cage sized box and the 12V computer fan I have in it now doesn't really do enough to keep it under 80, so definatly I'd say get a few more 12V fans and see what you need from there. Since it's a 400W light you'll probably need something more, like those fans you buy for the bathroom ceiling, perhaps one of those in the ceiling of the closet. Although since you're using an ozone generator I'll have to assume that smell is an issue so perhaps a bathroom fan wouldn't work that well.

WAS UP.
okay, thanks for fans /vent suggestion im using ion gen+ for clean air really, cause ihave had issues on previous grows with cleanliness ,bacteria,etc. so this time i wiped down wt/TSP the closet. ill have pics in 1 week. i have 4 plants. i turned off the 400hps- cause my last grow seedlings all burnt. so i got 3 flurors (each w/2piece) ~ 12,000 lumens total. 1 aporx @2000 each. compared to the 50k produced by hps. i have the 12v fan, i ordered 4 more w/a power supply for a computer ~ whoa ~ took a massive drag ~ ... so i gotta wait for em'. but these fluros have reduced temp to ~84 F. is that okay? i see 1 seedling sprouting. i used PERlite and potting soil for seedlings by uhm , SCOTTS. ,, ...

your advice & learned experience are most welcome and appreciated as I have not had a succesful crop yet.

oh yeah my closer is three parts. one long part is where pplants light is. the second sheld adjacent has the ballast and fan blowing at it. the 12v blows out to the bllast . ill get pics

these are the pics for my first grow. id appreciate your construvtive and intelligent responses. ive attempted twice before to grow, and my plants died.

more pics of entire grow space. which is a closet. i have a fan that blows out toward ballast. and several fluoros. thers an hps, but i wont turn it on until ~2nd week.

this is third day. this site i dont think is really useful for growers like myself. not much input. anyone know som e good forums?.. well heres additonal pics of my girls.

You haven't really asked for any input.

The space looks good, other than the fact that your lights are too far away from your little ones. You are going to get some stretchy plants if you don't get them a little closer to your lights.

95F is definately too hot. You need to keep it in the 70's.

yeah, well i have an hps, and i m thinking of turning it on today, thats why i have the fluoros put up like that. in that space those fluoros are too long to hang horizontal.

HIGH All, well your 400W is growing to be way to hot for your closet...too bad you didn't have a 250W..still would be a little warm but managable.

Your Floro's the ones's on the left I'd take them down and put on an angle and then raise your pots till they are just under the lights...the ones on the right I'd take out.

The flours will come in handly later on mounted vertically like that when the plants get bigger but for right now they are doing pretty much nothing for you.

sup people. well --
- the plants look fine 4th day. no chnge. i turned on 400hps now. im getting a 250 hps but not for soem time (~1 week). so ive taken off the fluoros on the right. moved em left, and turned on the 400 for few hours at a time , cause my avg temp is ~ 75 F. which is 24 C , but w/that lite it reaches near ~35 C/ 90F. so ive resorted to few hours of hps. for now.
