Well here's the run down. I got stuck with a paper route for a month but it worked out alright. I made off with $1200, a new friend, and 11 seeds. I had to train the new guy before I quit and noticed he had rasta tatooed on his arm. So I asked him about it and found out he smoked. We hit it off and had loads to talk about, He told me about his journey on the "Red Road" as an Indian and we talked about different natural drugs. Anyway he mentioned he used to grow and hooked me up with some seeds. I started germinating one 2 days ago and here it is.

Cool intro to your journal, and that picture, wow, without anything to give a perspective of scale it looks just like a boulder with a hard on!

Any idea what strain it is? Oh, and speaking from personal experience, if you have more than one seed, grow a few at a time, it sucks when you germinate one, grow it, nurture it and finally it turns out to be male. Cool pic though and good luck with your grow!

Not sure about the strain, the guy said it was from a plant that produced some chronic bud though. I just wanted to test out one seed for now. I'm starting two more. Once they're about 6" or so I plan on cloning them then putting the clones in 12/12 to determine the sex. Thanks for the tip/comment.

Started my next two seeds. One rooted after 1 day and the others still in the paper towels. I planted the rooted seed in a cup. It's been 1 1/2 days since I planted the other and still no sprout. But I'll give it some time. (blue cup = 1 1/2 days, green cup = new)

3rd seed rooted by the time I got back from class, It's the last one I'm going to germinate for now. I've got it planted in a cup now and moved it and the others into my box from Haiti. Now all I have to do is have some patience until they sprout. (blue cup = 1 3/4 days, green cup = 12 hours, purple cup = new)

I checked the seeds when I got home from class today and the 2 day old seed had sprouted. I've got it under a 150 watt grow light in the corner of my room now, with a piece of carboard folded like a trifold around it. I've got the cardboard covered in foil with the dull side out. The sprout looks a little funny to me but seems healthy. Can anyone confirm this?

I've got a Fuji Fine pix E550. It's got 6.3 megapixels and a 4x zoom. I really like it. Anywho my sprout's looking a lot better/greener now. It's standing tall and upright. I'm using a 150 watt plant light. It's one my dad used to use for tomatoes for our garden. Anyway here's a new pic of the sprout/light with the board around it. As for my other two seeds neither have sprouted yet but one looks like it's starting to displace the soil.

Thanks, as for my plans I've got a friend who has a grow room set up in his house and he offered to let me grow there. So once they get a little bigger I'm going to transplant them and take them up there. Originally I planned on getting a 55" high, 31" wide, 22" deep cabinet from target for $40. Paint the inside white, put in an intake and exhaust fan, hook up my 3 grow lights on a track, leave a shelf on top for cloning, and an air purifier on the shelf next to the exhaust fan. I've got some white paint, the lights, a potentiometer, and air purifier lying around so I might still build it just to have lol.

2nd seed sprouted, that means my last seed should sprout tomorrow if it follows the trend.

Looking good. Using a friends grow room will work fine this time around, but its a lot nicer to have a room close to you. If your going to keep growing all the time then your going to have to make your own room. It looks like your off to a good start though.

haha he is close by, and said he'd water them when he takes care of his. thanks for the concern though. Anyway my last seed finally sprouted it doesn't look as hea;thy as the other two did but I think it'll be ok. I moved the two other plants into slightly bigger pots. It wasn't too much trouble, I just cut open the cups and transplanted them into cup shaped spaces. I picked up a couple more lights a timer some future pots, some hyrdo grow fert *4% n 1.5% p/k* and an air purifier. Anywho I'm hoping to move them up to my friends in a week or two.

I've got it under a 150 watt grow light in the corner of my room now, with a piece of carboard folded like a trifold around it. I've got the cardboard covered in foil with the dull side out.
