The white rhino is great,and the swazi is as good as the old friend that sent them to me....

whats up fella`s i got a quick question for the lounge.
If you have a mother plant vegging or re-verting back to veg. and it goes hermie, will the clones from it be hermie as well, id think they would be but would like to know for sure,been wondering this for a while.

Hi again, I hear ya SOG, glad you liked them.

Good question doob3r, personally I've been experimenting with this too, using the very bottom of my flowered plants leaving the bottom 2 - 4 branches and putting the babies back into Veg to keep a strain going using the stump as a mother.

I've not had any turn hermie on me (yet) but about 1:3 do die before they can resume veg growth, but I'll be interested to hear others opinions here. especially as I seem to have hermie problems of my own.

Cutting a long story short, I bought Big Bud and Afghani #1 seeds (non fem) from Sensi - never again.

The Afghani must have been bag seed as I had such a huge variation of strains in there, none of which looked anything like I was expecting. And as for timing, they took between 7 and 12 weeks to finish flowering, with some growing to about a metre and some double that.

As for the Big Bud, had I bought these locally I'd have done the retailer under the trades description act. Big - my arse, and not a stable strain at all. I kept back 3 mothers and the clones from these turn intermittently hermie, like about every other plant. It's really pissed me off this year and that's it for me and Sensi. I even went and visited them in the Dam this year (went to the Highlife Cup) but you know what, as nice as they were (well, the one bird I spoke most too - didn't score though, not even close, but I gave it my best shot) they really didn't give a shit or have a clue as to why I was having these problems.

Oh well.

Must dash - BTW, what happened in the Bisbing / Rashid fight in the UFC - I missed it?

Ahhhh bopper you know me and anything fighting,it was a ok fight.
Nothing to wild and it went all three rounds with Rashid comming up with the win.
The one fight with silva VS silva befor rashid fight was not what i thought was going to happen at all...thought the black guy silva would win but got his ass beat in the first round...oh well..UFC79 is going to be better...ice man and silva from pride fc are the top fight....

I got some beans from a far away friend who calls them a9's (afghan X C99)
not a bad smoke and never a couch loc high at all...

White rhino has some fat buds and gets very sticky and has a powerful high
you can bend the shit out of the plant and get plenty of bud sites....

Sorry to hear that matey, I've found them to be pretty bomb-proof, but certainly I've found both Afghani #1 and Big Bud to be prone to going hermie, but I've binned both strains now, both from Sensi, because basically they are shite.

Bisbing lost huh, I'm surprised at that, but hey, he is predominantly a British Brawler and there's alway's someone tougher somewhere.

I had my first smoke in 2 years and 4 months the other day. It was Strawberry Cough and tastey at that. I only had a couple puffs and it was a classic oversmoke. I cheesed bad. I couldn't control my tone of voice and I felt soooooo high school stoned. Ya know like when you first start smoking and you just cant control your stone at all. I was the laugh for all my friends. We were hungry so we went to the corner store and I was afraid to go in because I was soooo giggly. Ah to be high again....

I'm starting a Bubbleberry grow with seeds from Sagarmatha today. It's my typical aero grow. May put some pics up from time to time. Take care blades and lets keep it green around here.

As for the F1 vs. later gens, Start googling regular breeder stuff like dogs or race horses. Puppies litters are the same gen but are unique and short of cloning, you can't get back distinct color or markings that made the parent so neat, but you can get really really close and consistent in terms of markings so with weed, I don't see why within a few years, with good/lucky parent selection, you could get close to the original which is how I imagine any stabilization happens. Plus, you can back cross without winding up with retarded plants The problem is the number of grow rooms you need to grow out all the offspring to rate the parents. So from that perspective the odds are against most of us but then again, although horse breeders have a sophisticated trait marker checklist, when they breed they only get one offspring which is a pretty small pool statistically *nods* Hmm I wonder if race horses are just an endless breeding of F1 hybrids for assured vigor. *This babble brought to you by C99 and the letter 'G'.*
