Hi dread,karen and anybody else whos reading......

im starting to get a mental image of you now dread......you look like neil of the young ones with dreads.......lol

dread you pritty much summend up the smoking thing but unlike you im like unoit a drinker/smoker......if i have a beer which is every night i want a smoke......i use to smoke cigs but i only smoke them now if i dont have weed and ive had a beer......i love the feeling that you get of the mixture of alc and buds............ive tried most drugs on the market but being pissed and stoned hits the spot for me .........


work.... well ive got my own buisness.....im a contractor.....in this country alot of people are contractors from builders to roadlayers to milkman........i work long days 5am-after6 pm mon-fri and half days sats.........i will talk abit about work after it but try not to too much i think we waste to much of our time there as it is but you need to talk about things sometimes.....btw im looking for another job...i might do an adult apperticeship in building........befor i moved here i was a chef/pastry chef/baker not a bad one if i may say so my self ....i gave it up coz the money wasnt great and the hours where a pain....


im a happy go lucky guy most of the time but i do have a bit of a temper... i think thats the celtic coming out of me....lol.....a guys guy........5.9 stocky with a bit of a beer belly but i can suck it in if i want ....lol....im reasonably fit...i can ride 25 ks in a hour and still ride on.......i have the sort of atitude thats what will be will be but that can change from day to day......lol....this is getting hard what else can i write to describe myself....i know some people would say im a wanker and others would say top man..........ah thats it... i say what im thinking way to much......this can either piss people of or make people like me......either way i dont care what they think unless i like them...


i wasnt drunk or stoned when i wrote that so i dont have any excuses for rambaling on or spelling/grammer mistakes.....

thanks to both of you, its interesting to have someone describe an aspect of themselves, everyone is unique and so much the same when it comes to feelings. i feel like i know both of you a little better....J, you remind me more so of my bestfriend, he also enjoys the bud and beer immensely! if i can describe him a little, stocky guy, about 5'8, beer gut, but solid. he's a real likeable guy, and he will say whats on his mind and doesnt give a shit if its pisses you off or not. its not his intentions, but if youre wrong and you think you are right, this is the type of guy who will tell you are wrong and why you are wrong. his lastname is gallick, ive seen the celtic come out of em plenty of times lol


i believe you should talk about your job, but not in social gatherings, and not if it was upseting at home. what i was meaning about social gatherings, like at a bar or something, you dont want to get drinking and start getting pissed about work, it jus ruins everything! you put in some long hours J, im sure its something you enjoy to spend that much time doing it. i clear about 45 hrs a week, could clear more, but dont like spending more than 1/3 of my day at the work spot, drives me batty.


ive always noticed the first 3 days after quitting is the worse, like i said manageable if you make the decision to quit, but quite the fucking opposite if its gone. if you got your drought cycles timed in you could prepare for that. i always used to. id buy about a half pound of some midz around when the dealers start talkin things are getting tight and jus sit on it, usually would last during the drought. the hardest thing tho would to turn people away. you could nver hook anyone up because whoever you hooked up would bother you forever trying to get you to hook other people up. plus drought prices for weed are insane and i couldnt do that to anyone.

i have no idea what the last two posts were just talking about. I think I'm one of the only yanks in the lounge frequently. I hope I represent the country well.
Anyway, I didn't quote so bear with me I will jump around a bit.
Today is day four for me of no smoke. I had to quit for court which is in a little less than a month. May not smoke for around two to three years. Clean record after probation is over. I am finally getting my sentence after two years and three days.

I know about the problem most have with combo. of weed/alc. we call it the spins. I never got them from the combo. One of my favorite things to do is go out with friends and after the bar when we're shitty drunk, that first toke of transitional anebriation is the best for me....for some it is their downfall

I am anti-establishment as well ND, but I know that I can do good through running one of those co. some day. In fact that is my professional goal. If you think badly of me for it, I wish we could meet someday such that I could show you the GOOD sides of any job. You people in need and that is the root of what you do...I believe that to be very noble.
I look just like j, but I have wavy curly brown hair, according to his description that is the way I'd describe my stature.

so ill give you a bit of background on myself

im 6'2" and weigh 11 1/2 stone with brown hair and eyes
i eat everything so i dont know why im not heavier,ill prob turn into a chunky bugger when i get older....the only thing that ever put wieght on me was drinking,at 18 i was 16 stone.

im 32 years old and work as a builder and decorator.been working for myself for about 4 years now and i dont do much more than about 6 hours a day,i only want to earn enough to pay my bills and thats about it,lifes too short to spend it all at work.

im one of the most patient guys i know but when the temper does come out its not something to be near,but smoking helps on that score....
i started drinking at about 14 and by 18 i was drinking 15 pints every night, more on a special occasion,but i never was uncontrolably pissed,always knew what i was doing.
that continued till i was 21 when i started getting kidney pains so i gave it up for a few years.
that was much harder than stopping the cannaboids.
thats when i started smoking cannabis and ive toked ever since.i do drink occasionally now but dont really smoke and drink together cos it reacts and i end up feeling like shit

i think its great to have as great a social conscience to go and protest,i dont agree with the rampant capitalism that is poisoning our planet,where all is ignored in the search for profit, so good on you igf for trying to make your voice count.its people like you who are going to make the environment as pleasant for the next generation as it was for the last

you may be able to make a difference from the inside piney,but i suspect anyone who puts conscience before profit isnt going to be allowed to get to the top in the companies that matter.but if more people have that attitude then who knows,maybe it will work.

Skinner- thanks for someone at least bein in the dark too. I just think sometimes (usually the first mistake) that some of the lingo is from Europe. I'm going to take a new approach to this and if there is an expression that I don't understand, then I will ask what it means, such that I too can be in the loop.

tetra- I get the pH and cuts post now it was just out of nowhere, and I have been a drunk since no smokey.

It is a wonderful day outside and the boss isn't in today. Nothin like dippin out for walks while on the clock. Hope the sun is shinning on all of you blades today as well, it helps us grow.

I am sooo mad I could spit right now. My order of $300 worth of much needed supplies was shipped to an address that doesn't exist according to UPS. The company I ordered from sent it to the billing address instead of the shipping/delivery address. Their trying to say it is half my fault. WTF. I have spent tons of money with this company and they are tryin to do me like this. On top of all that I can't smoke to chill out so I'm kind nuts right now.

Haha...nah...my first language is German...born and raised there...second language English, of course...I moved to Norway at 20...been there for 10 years now...so I mostly speak Norwegian now...

The big language confusion kicks in when I visit the family for christmas...think in Norwegian, speak German, slowly start thinking in German, then visit GC and it all gets fucked up haha

It's sorted. They called back and said it was totally their fault. I drove across town and found where the address that they shipped to should be. UPS just left the boxes on some porch and I swooped in and picked them up before anyone got them. I'm glad I found this out as soon as I did. They are offering me a discount next time
