Cool

Greetings GUlfster: Good luck with this grow, 11 plants should reap a tidy forrest of bud. I found leaf shape/size changes when you go into flowering so I am still kinda up in the air what I have but generally wide leaves are Indica which gives a couchlock/body stone like Chemo. Long thin leaves are Sativa, the up, artsy, go do stuff buzz like Cinderella 99.

I started LST a couple days into the second week. The trick is to first tie off the base in the opposite direction of the bend...oh, take a glance at the bottom of page 1 of my journal for some pics as this is getting hard to explain. The idea is to not stress the roots with the first bend, that is why you tie off the bottom, hope that makes sense.

As for the helicoptors, I find wrapping my head in layers of aluminum for a few days helps keep them away because they loose the signal

hey GGGGG-Unit, oops i meant GUlfster lol, nah man for real i got to browsing through your journal and couldnt resist i missed a couple of things like the soil that you used. i think i had used something similiar in the past because i had seedlings that looked like yours. as a matter of fact, not my last grow but the one prior, identical pictures. 4 of the plants recovered as they got older, because once they hit maturity, the soil wasnt so hard on them and they really blew up big. but i would test that soil atleast once because its going to remain a little low in the pH range unless you can buffer it up. if you transplant into the same soil with bigger pots, i dont think you would have to worry about buffering anything. just feed your flowering nutes and enjoy the fruits. looking foward to seeing the results of your lst, and cfls work excellent for veg provide you have the right amount of lumen and proper positioning

i actually went to walmart since it is right next door and bought some 97cent compost the greatvalue black angus cow poop soil bag that aparentyl wasnt steralized so now i have white flies flying around (Gay) mixed with some peat moss. and i got some PH up fluid that i use for my drinking water becuase i am an alternative medicine guy so i am gonna test it like right meow.
as for those flys i am gonna use some H202 incecticide mix that i found with some added tea tree oil.

ohh for you entertainment purposes i dont know my friend sent it to me and its pretty funny

hey Gulfster, hehe, i don't like to use insecticides on my plants, i just don't think i'd like to be sprayed down when i've got flies chillen near me. u know what i used when i had a fruit fly problem... i simply moved my carnivorous plants into the grow room for a few days. i have a venus flytrap and a pitcher plant. after about a week, my flytrap had 70% of it's traps closed. the only thing with flytraps is that each trap can only be used about a maximum of a half of a dozen times, then the trap will discolor and fall off and new ones will grow, so if your fly problem is that bad you may want two, just to be sure you don't have any down time in the fly catching process. it will take the plant about 2 days or 3 perhaps to digest the fly, and don't worry when the trap reopens and u see the fly still inside cuz the plant cannot digest the exoskeleton, it simply removes all the nutrients it can use.. mainly nitrogen considering these plants are commonly found in bogs and swamps (the keys in florida) where nitrogen isn't very plentiful at all.

hope this gives you an idea to the alternative of dousing those beauty's with chemicals.

=)

No problem glad i could assist in making you guys laugh.

yeah i ended up using tea tree oil with H202 and water. Tea-tree oil which is an antibacterial, anti-viral,anti-inflamatory, anti-fungal. in think is whats gonna do the trick its an oil so i dont think it will harm the plants just harm those larve. do i hope they die those little good for nothing bastards.

hey is bitburger beer any good? a friend of mine recomended it when to me after he got back from a trip to germany is it any good?

need to vent

A band called widespread panic released tickets today for their comeback show in late March. I woke up hungover to buy tickets to probably my favorite band(If I have such a thing). Anyway, tickets sold out online in the first minute and didn't get any to their first three shows. Then I go to ebay just to check if anyone has them up yet there and people are already selling tickets that cost $120 for $1000. Those bastards that do that shit took the tickets that I wanted to see a band that I like, so that they could try and rip somebody off. That is badly wrong.
P.S. This same shit happened with a band called PHISH after they took a break and came back it was 4 times harder just to get tickets.
PPS What essentially happened today was something truely good got changed into something really bad...by a greedy American(this seems to have happened before in history)
