Yes, I have advice for newbies. Just hop in there and do it. Dont be intimidated by breaking branches. In training that will happen from time to time. This method is very simple and maximizes the grow space. I encourage all new growers to check it out. Since I see interest here at GC. I will post a thread I did at NH explaining Scrog to the best of my ablity. Jump in there and do it man. You wont be disappointed. tc gm714

Hi all, here they are 19 days into flowering. The skunk is budding quick as the Widows bring up the rear. Im still stuffing branches at this point. The widows are still stretching but the skunk has stopped. I've cleaned out underneath the canopy's. The pic below shows how massive the branching is. Clippings taken at three weeks flowering branch like mad once they reveg. This is one plant in an 18 gallon bubbler tub. I used to use alot more plant but today I keep the numbers down. I dont have crowding issues that way. Enjoy the pics. gm714

Smile Update

Another update. Here we are at 27 days flowering. The Widows are finally starting to show there stuff and the Skunks are way ahead of the game. I am trying to keep the canopy at less than 8 inches and that appears to be happening so far. A low canopy keeps maximum light on the entire surface of the screen. This way I have all of the plant mature at the end of flowering verses just the upper part like in natural growing methods. Yeah, Im partial to scrog but I just cant find a way to get a better yeild without it. lol. tc gm714

Hey thc, I really liked that thread on the butter. I eat more dope than I smoke these days. I like the intensity and I like the length of the high. Mixing the butter with chocolate is a cool idea. So you put it in the ice cube trays to cool it and then? Just eat it? Its good like that? I know the butter can be powerful overwhelming. I've damn near gagged on it before when I've gotten to much of it. About the silicon. I am sure you will like it. Check out your rootzone after using it for a while and the overall health of your plants should improve. Also, they seem to endure the heat a little better. Im not sure if it increases yeild or not. I've been using it for so long I cant remember when I wasnt using it. Anyways, its good stuff. I am sure you will be impressed with its performance. I am not a magic potion pusher but this product along with the Dark Energy seem to be a winner in my book. tc gm714

Heres a few more shots of the girls at 32 days. The widows are starting to show their stuff and the skunk1 is frosting bigtime. I've never grown her (the skunk1) in hydro before. For some reason it was always soil. Im glad I tried her in a bubbler. Much better this time. Im throwing the Dark Energy at them at approx 1 1/2 tsp's per gallon. They aint lyin when they say it stinks.....PeeeeU. but it does seem to kick ass. Enjoy the pics. gm714
