here's a flower from Kit. these preflowers are much larger than on the other plant. these run mostly along the mainstem. two on each side. im concerned about the stretch, but it should be over in a couple more days. didnt seem to stretch all that much, nor did the other plant. no leaf damage whatsoever!

okay and here is a picture of the other plant. she's such a bush! lst is also a big factor in how this plant looks. i also cut off a bunch of side branches before i did the last repot about 2 mos ago. since going under the hps, everything has filled out on this plant. i dont think ill get the bigger buds on this plant like im used to. im thinking im going to get several nice medium size nugz.

a closer look at the canopy. im going to end up gettin some twine and tying all those main branches outward so the center can be more exposed to the light, hell, might as well try two harvest out of the plant. i know the bottom half may suffer from lack of light, they will be given the chance to fatten up once the top is taken.

a closer look of one of the flowering sites. you can see its much smaller than on Kit. you can also see this plant has much thinner leaves than Kit. sativa is definetly in this plant, its not 100%, but enough that the leaves show the trait.

Thanks! ive never revegged the mother after a complete harvest. ive cut the top budz off to allow the bottom to mature some, thats about it. the new mother i have was actually a clone i took from the original mother last year. this clone was going to be my mother for my future grows, but the first couple of clones i took from her did not make it, they were not healthy enough to root. so, this round because of the terrible female to male ratio, i decided to pull the 3rd clone and make her the new mother for future grows and finally allow this plant to flower a lil over 8 months later.
if anything, i expected to notice a increase of potency because of the way ive grown the plant. the organics this round has been the best way to go. if anyone has been following along this grow, you all know that i have not given these plants any type of liquid ferts, organic or chemical. i expect more from the new mother clone i have. i plan on trying to make the strain as close to perfect as possible, so that means, ill be keeping it for a long time. hopefully sometime over the summer, i can get another city members opinion, if he can swing by this time ![]()

so far, this grow has been nothing but complete ease. a couple of times ive had some issues with the pH and i think heat, but all of that has been worked out. i even repotted some strawberrys and mint into the soil ive been using. 2 days later, they are curling all up so an emergency repot into normal soil will happen today. the soil is wonderful, but very rich and not for young plants. i was concerned that i wouldnt beable to see root growth in the medium i put my clone in, but i am able to see the roots. so, the estimated time frame i wanted to put it in the soil matched to the date i chose on my calender. i dont think i will ever go back to water cloning. this method was failsafe. i only used a lil of the soil for nutrients and mostly verm. i kept the medium moist by spraying it down every other day, and misting the clone. i noticed some droop the third day in the medium and fixed that by putting a plastic bag over the plant and misting it. so the bag held the humidity and allowed the clone to root. today, it gets potted. this is my new mother.

okay, here are some more flower shots, or i should say more pronounced shots. this shot is of my mother. i think since its an unknown strain, and it produces nothing but red hairs, ill have to dub it Firebud. works for me. i wish i really knew what it was. so far, very minimal smell, but i know it will be coming in a couple of weeks. nothin like the smell of spicy citrus.

another flower, different part of the plant. i counted multiple sites. im glad of the uniformity of the canopy also. their are some stragglers, but for the most part, they are all pretty even. i still need to get some twine so i can tie the shoots outwards so the middle can become more developed

whats this? 7 tops counted? should be about 5 more spread about the back of the plant. what i like most about this strain is how heafty the buds get. im hoping with the plant having so many sites, it will be able to produce nice size buds. i guess we all will see.

a shot of both ladies. you can see how Kit has become quite large. the girl is getting greedy. i think if left unchecked, she would gladly overtake the space. stretch has been a bitch with her, every morning when i get up its like shes grown atleast 2 inches overnight! she definetly has those sativa traits, the leaf however mostly remain broad showing her indica traits
