So I couldnt really look at the girls until today...about 48 hrs between checks. I checked the ph last night before bed but thats it...These ladies have taken over. I am shocked. Drinking noticable amounts of water now, ph goes to 6 again. ppm is still 810?
How do you calibrate a ppm meter? Its got a set screw just like my ph. Pics to come I've gtg batteries.
So I havent changed the rez in a week and a half, Want to put these into buckets asap. Should I add nutes? They seem to be doing so well, I hate to screw em up.

Hopefully my ladies will get into thier five gallon buckets this week, with four gallons each, or so , in a bio system or recirculating dwc. Either or will have a 20 gallon rez or so.

Its a X.7 conversion on the pH while as you see my Blue Lab Pro meter is a X.5 which shows the ppm conversion that Lucas also uses as his standard in all his posts.

Yes i use the Lucas system and AN supliments as well(9 of them throughout the grow,multizyme and superthrive too).

You can see the dif. in the two meters ppm and now you know why and how important it is when following someones ppm sched. like Lucas.

My BL ppm is about 1250 atm but the Hanna will show about 550 ppm more and thats just the dif. conversion used (i try to explain this when i can).

Google Water general mfg co. for the nice R/O system and look for the RD-102 R/O-DI unit (no res as you should get a lil float and add it to your res. for a fully auto watering system)the $10 float can be found online and sdded to any res. in 2 min. flat,hose and all.

Truely automatic growing minus the food and raising the light.

Thats close, but here is a pic of my meters. I bought these off ebay, so I have no idea what the conversion is. Ill do a search when I get home from work. I bought a new version of that ph meter, that one isnt very accurate.

just fyi I hated the idea of always adding ph down every day so i went to ace hardware and bought some acidic vitamin b says acid in ingredients now i use this every other day instead of the ph down seems to be working 5 drops brings 2.5 gallons down about .1 point but 7 brings it down .2 sometimes .3 I dont understand it at all

Switched to 12/12 on the 25th, was runnning out of room,lol. Spotted and removed two males already, they were the biggest., but hopefully this means the rest are girls.

pics to come, I have been thru some serious man labor this week , roofing. It wasnt so bad but couldnt imagine doing that everyday. Any body still watching the next post will shock you....

well, kinda jinxed myself there...I suspected I had 6/8 females, but Ive only got two for sure, one hasnt shown yet. Oh well, gonna take clones later for moms. Hope my NL goes better than this.

The Hps is fired up. Im lovin it, and so are the girls. Ordered a carbon filter and new bulb today. Was going to put these ladies into BB but the roots are wrapped around the aero manifold. Oh well.

just added three gallons distilled with two tbs epson salt. Will check back in 30 minutes to check ppm and ph.
Heres some pics for ya. Wish they were doing a little better though, this seems slower than normal. This is day 12 after switching to 12/12. I will officially refer to day one of flowering as 11/3/08, as this is when I saw white hairs on the plants. sooo...

Got my carbon filter installed and its working nice, btw. Only took about 24 hrs to clean the whole area. House was smelling a little funky,lol. This grow was more of a test to try out the hydro thing. Which I am loving right now. Goin to take some clones as soon as build this cloner, have been very busy. I plan on taking four clones off the smaller Top 44 plants and a couple of the bagseed. I will grow these out soil for a mother plant, half maybe hydro, dunno yet.

Clones arent doing so well.But the girls look pretty nice. Seems the smaller top 44 plants are a week behind the other one? weird.
Anyone got any idea on the clones not working.

rootech cloning gel, made the cuts in water, not as many nodes as I like kinda stretched. The water in the cloner might be chilly, 65 to 70.

And the soil girls are doing their usual yellowing, id like to try FFOF next time. Seems everyone loves it so much.

Ph took a dive?? I havent been paying super close attention but in two days over two whole points?? They are really drinking some water atm. Like three gals every day or so. The smaller plants, top 44, seem to have stretched and caught up with the bigger one, but still seem to be less devoloped. Hoped to have clones of all these but after a week and four days, no roots.
