New Member: First Grow :)
whats up GC, so i started my plant a while back and i just recently this forum so ill post some pics to catch you guys up on whats goin on. i started out with 5 plants and only 1 turned out female
 but it actually turned out alright considering the amount of space i have to grow in, a small section in my closet lol. she is a lowrider and stands about 18 in. my set up is real simple, 5 cfls and im using Miracle Grow soil, i hope to do hydroponic next.The beginning: Day: 9  Day: 16  Day: 35  Day: 1 of 12/12  Day: 7 of 12/12 (get a good look at the top cause shes gonna get in an accident soon  ) another look at the top before she gets knocked off:  Day: 10 of 12/12 (top lights fell on plant knocking off top .5 in. off  )   i was gonna do some surgery on her and zip tie the top back on, but after talking to a few ppl about it, they said that it might be best to just leave it off so the buds get more light. bud sites of Day: 10  Day: 16 of 12/12 (the plant is focusing on fixing the break)  and it made a new freakin top in only 6 days!!   plus trichomes started popping up   pic of budsites, crowns are perked up   Day: 26 of 12/12 (most recent pics done today)  new top update  nasty scar  update on top bud  under leaves   thats all i have for now, please comment tell me how im doin, and if you have any tips leave some love

sup guys, i know its only been 2 days but its so fun to watch her grow i just have to take pics lol. some more dank ass pics
enjoy! site of accident:  top bud:  this pic is rated xxx fellas, a little upsirt action MUST SEE! quick question, does anyone know of or uses SuperThrive? and would the nutients that im using for this soil grow work in a hydroponic or do i have to use other nutes? |

yo GC! can someone answer a question i had. do nutrient burns affect the buds in any way? i mean does it do anything to the plant other than just leavin burn marks on the leaves? i would think the buds would love all the nutrients. and has anyone heard of or used SuperThrive?

hey man.. i'd stay away from the superthrive personally. I think it's total crap (my 02)
and yeah nute burn will effect buds for sure. if you overfert you're going to have unwanted salt buildups which will swing your PH levels causing lockouts, which in turn will effect bud growth. also all those extra nutes will make your buds smell and taste pretty bad. small regular feedings and plain water on occasion is all a soil plant needs man. your plants look really nice dude.. good luck!!

hola GC! i had a nice pick up today, couldnt tell ya what strain it was cuz my dealers sound like they make up their names lol, its fun to call them out on it though
i just smoked a few bowls outa my blue dot  wonderful piece. but back to my plant, she isn't perked up like she used to be! i water her with nutes once a day, but the soil still a tad moist. now that i think of it should i spread out the water cycle and skip a day? anyway heres some pics, tell me what ya think.a pic of the sagging fan leaves:  pic of the leaves below the main top cola, not perked at all:  and the top bod, for the heck of it   tell me what you guys think, id appreciate it! p.s. stay ripped. |

I have a feeling you're over-watering them. I'm not positive but thats what comes to mind when I see your plants. They're also very very tasty looking good job !!!

whatup GC! a little compare and contrast:
heres a pic of day 16 of 12/12 light cycle, trichs just started popping out. This is the under-leaf I thought this was amazing!
 heres a pic taken 11 days later, what a crazy difference! trichs and buds just fillin up this pic is the same under-leaf above: and heres an update on the main cola  enjoy! by the way my leaves are still sagging a bit, i even changed my watering cycle to every other day but same results... any more ideas? a lot of orange hairs are starting to appear, is that normal for day 31 of 12/12 even if the bud spots is real premature? oh and my flippin top lights fell down and burnt a few leaves near the main cola, ultra lame... but other than that she looks great. |
