thanks man, i have 5 cfl lights that produce 100 watts each but only use 23 watts of electricity each. i let her veg for 2 months because i started off with a shitty setup.

it was quite a trip, got to see Mt. McKinley (tallest peak in america, 7000 ft short of Everest ). i also saw a bunch of glaciers and wildlife but anywho some pics of Alaska and the update on the dank

quick question:
when im about to harvest and i begin flushing, am i supposed to put a few gallons of water every 2 to 3 days or just do it once?

When my crop is about 2 weeks from harvest I stop the nutrients and water with plain water only. If you use synthetic nutrients I think it's advised to flush your plants with about 2x the volume of the pot with water(2 weeks prior to harvest). Then just water with plain water.

Yo BlazeruP420 what was the ship you where on...I just got back from a cruise on the Radience of the Seas. Alaska was the heat...many headie nugs in both Anchorage and Ketchikan. Nice CFL grow by the way.

nice man, lol way to stay informed. its like reading the newspaper for stoners hahal. ya man alaska is a bad ass place, but there are two main reasons why i wouldnt move there. 9 month long winter at subzero climates, and their cost of living is pretty expensive. they dont even have a .99 menu at Mc. D's lol. gas prices and produce is pretty steep. i would love to visit there for 3 months get a job and chill there for the summer. the weather is perfect enough to do all sorts of outdoor activities. the scenery is amazing.

im around 55 days into flowering, and i'm sorta excited bout makin my first chop. judging by looking at the top nug, do you think it will be ready in about 2 weeks? i stopped givin it nutes yesterday to prepare for the chop in 2 weeks because im hoping shes ready, but if she isnt ill start givin it nutes again. the trichs are mainly cloudy, and i just wanna chop the top nug off to concentrate my lights on the rest of the buds below. from what ive heard, your supposed to leave the plant in 24 hrs of darkness on the last day before harvesting, but ive also heard 48 hours of darkness as well. which should i do ?

I'm harvesting mine when they get to where yours are at now. You can harvest those anytime in the next two weeks.

if your at day 55 then your good. no need to take it longer. average for a lowryder is Indoors: 40-45 days (after a 15-20 day seedling stage)

you should be good to go in the next 5 days to keep it at 60. but it looks perfect to get chopped as of now.

why is it that my top nug looks so much danker and bigger than the buds on the lower bunches, i mean they dont even look the same at all. the top nug doesn't have many orange hairs and is full of bud, and the bottom nugs have lots of orange hairs and not as much buds. are the bottom branches more mature than the top nug?

I've read a bunch of different stuff on it. Some of em say that bud ripen starting with the oldest and that they grow from the bottom up. So the lower buds fatten and the hairs turn red first. Then some say that the top buds ripen first. I dunno, but I know you can cut off what's ready, and leave the rest to finish up.
