I planted three Thai Stick a month or so ago (it was the freebie from marijuana-seeds.nl), and they all never made it pass the seedling stage... but it could've been the soil they were in. (It was in some organic mix from a local nursery)

So time for an update.

The bad news.
Last Thurs (6/5) I buried 2 of my babies. They showed no improvement, and although I may be able to revive them with a lot of patience, I decided to call it. I took a few pics for their obituaries.

The good news.
The last plant is growing strong. I took the hoods off of the CFLs, and added a small fan inside the cab. It's currently at 3 - 3 1/2 inches. I watered today and with a touch of nutes. Last watering was pure water. While I was at it, I snapped a few photos. Today is it's 3 week mark since it popped soil.

I noticed the purple vein growing on it's stem. I'm thinking it may be the cold, as it does get to around 63Fish at night. I'll probably wait a week or so more before I flip it to 12/12. Really hoping it turns out to be a lady.

Ugh,

So I came home from work today to find the socket had tripped, and the lights/fans were off. We had a pretty bad storm last night, so it may have been from early this morning, but I'm pretty certain the kid was lights out for 15ish hours.

Hope she'll be alright, there's a lot of new growth on her. Doing some googling on cheap Battery Backups.

All things considered, I was planning on flowering next week. And before doing that putting her under 24 hours darkness. Perhaps given 3 hours of light tonight, and starting the dark cycle tomorrow wouldn't be a horrible idea.

I was hoping she'd be closer to 6" before I flowered though.

At least I have until 5 A.M. tomorrow to decide.

identical problem solved

hi there so ya know this thread caused me to come try and join a forum first time here but with your issue not a first or even a fiftieth my main crop is a northern lights x thai ordered years and years ago from emry they tend to yellow when over watered straight perlite verm actually ended up on the other side as 2 dry but all my mothers i make a 50 50 mix perl and verm then mix it with a 50 50 mix of miracle gro potting soil and hyponex topsoil. The perlite verm mix creates better drainage the miracle gro is a nutrient mix (slight but there) and the topsoil is simply a wonderful buffer. Now this is my fav strain i have which is why i go through the same hassle with every clone and only have about 60% survial rate in my aero cloners but if i take the three weeks to start cuttings in this mix they survive on the cutting room floor without a dome at around 95% love the pics and if i could i would shoot u some of mine but inspiration comes everywhere so now ill find a camera i reckon
