LySeRgIc BC Bud ST Closet Grow!

Strain: BC Bud Sweet Tooth
Progress : 12 days vegetation
Soil: Miracle Grow Organic
Nutrients: Currrently on very small doses of Botanicare PureBlend Grow.
Lights : 2 CFL 's on 5 plants, will be transferred to 400W HPS in a month or so.
Status : Currently a bit stretched because they started far under the 400w so I set up this stealth grow in another closet with the 2 flourescents.
Ventilation: Small fan and open door my friends :P

P.S. I am asking for advice asap. I want as much advice as you can give so these come out bomb, so please feel free to give tips or constructive criticism. I've only had one successful yield, so be easy. :P

Heres some advice: As soon as they outgrow those pots change soils. Miracle grow is no good even if it is organic. If you don't have access to a hydro store where you can buy the proper soil then search for recipes and mix your own. They also aren't going to need any nutrients for a while. If you buy good soil like fox farm or happy frog there is a good chance you won't need any nutrients throughout your veg cycle depending on how long you veg. If you are just going to grow them until they are sexually mature then flower the soil will provide enough nutes for veg. I can't really tell from the pics, but if you are using the orange spectrum cfl's switch to ones that put off the more blue spectrum because they are better for veg. Also, when transplanting just go up to the next biggest pot size. If you put them straight from those small pots into a huge pot your roots will grow out of control and you could possibly run into rootbound issues-just a helpful hint. Other than that you are good to go. Just sit back and enjoy watching them grow.

like killa said you need to get blue spectrum lights since they are better for veg cycle due to the orange or red spectrum makes plants stretch. also raise those plants right under the cfls or think about getting more to stop your stretching. they are stretching pretty bad and that can lead to weak stems. keep those pics coming.

Those plants HAVE been under the 400w HPS on the floor from like 6 feet away for the first week and a half. I just recently transferred them to this spot, so I'll update tomorrow night with some more pics. Thanks for the advice people, I'm getting blue cfl's now.

Day 18 Vegetation - Started on a small diet of Liquid Karma in its water. As seen in the picture as last, it's a size comparison. They are about 6 inches tall now. Growing well except for a straggler because he sat in a dark room for a day on accident lol.

Updated: One has very strong stem, one has very weak, purple stem. Thought to be of a nutrient deficiency. 5 leaf stage starting on most plants. Topped one as an experiment, to see if it was too early. You'll notice the freshly topped one as the one without any top shoots lol.
