Quick text update. Sprout is growing it's second set of leaves, and it looks healthy. And Seedy is finally showing life. I was about to throw it out because it wasn't germinating. But when I got home today, I saw green rising a few centimeters above the soil surface. I'd take pics now but it's lights out time for them.

As for the light. It's called an OTT Plant Bulb. I found it in my house and I didn't think it was going to work. But lo and behold, it shines. Describing this light to you makes me feel so unprepared. It's 17watts, and I'm not sure if it's a CFL or what. Their website says it's equal to 70 incandescent bulbs and it gives off very little heat. I bought the base for the light some years back. It came with funky colored light bulbs and I used it for parties. The OTT Light fits right in and it can be used safely in the lamp base.

ahhh, you dont need all the bells and whistles to get some bud, but you will need more than 17 watts. keep it green and see what happens, good luck dude

Awe great grow... This reminds me of my first (and only) grow...
The last pic is about where they were at when they died...
I live at home with parents, so I decided not to keep growing them there.

Well, Sprout decided to grow ON the light over night. So a tiny tip of lis leaf is a dark color like it started to get burned. Should I leave it or just cut it off?

and i agree, you are going to need alot more output than 17 watts if you want to produce any kind of smokable plant.

and since i can't see your set up, i don't know exactly why you have the light next to the plant, but i'd find a way to suspend the light so that when your seedlings grow, you can move it up and not burn'm

and on the other hand, what kind of soil are you using, and, if your not a natural-aholic, what are you going to use to try and keep them alive and help them sprout life??? since the conditions of light are poor, try and give them a fighting chance with some nutrients. ESPECIALLY nutes that help with roots and plant size, since you have no fan from what i've seen, you are going to want to give them what they need to be bulky as possible. here's a link with some info, and if you put in a little more work, i think you might be able to get a quater size amount of marijuana. again, good luck

I've just been surfing for more info. I have a plant just germed and forming its first set of leaves. Still in solo cup like you. I'm on 24/24 CFL. Good luck and I cant wait to see how it goes.

I cannot wait to post pics tomrrow. I feel so accomplished. I got a bigger pot for Sprout. Seedy stopped growing. Period. Seedy is no longer with us. Moment of silence.

I got some nutes today as well. I might stop by again to get some CFLs. My tiny grow is expanding. Since Seedy is no longer with us, I'll start germination on a few more seeds as soon as I get them..... which should be soon.

I'll start nute-ing them in a week. That'll make it three weeks since planting.
And Sprout has grown leaps and bounds in a few hours because of the new pot I put it in. It's working on yet another set of leaves. The black part of the leaf that got burned is turning green again. I started a LST too.

Finally the pics are here. I have more seeds germinating so my chances of a female are higher.

Looking goodl!I have a plant at around the same stage as yours and it seems to be purple already.......weird lol.Was from a random bag of weed years agoAnd i dont remember it being purplelol
Do you know what type you are growing?If its bagseed,can u tell me if the weed it came out of was any good?Keep on growing!!!!!
