What billigreens been up to

so we planted some bag seeds that turned out to be rather nice plants. we flowered two out of our 3 females and polinated one with purple kush. we are just harvesting those seeds now. the other we exparimented with nutrients and found out about how much these strains can take. while we were doing this we kept one of the females in veging and did some toping and lst. we ended up veging for about 2 months and came out with a bush. this is the plant the grow journal is about. its in a 5 gallon bucket and about 2 ft in across. we have it flowering under a 600 hps. it is a sealed light with an extraction fan so we keep it rather close to te plant. we started flowering on 4/20 so they are just ove two weeks old and the buds are coming in nicely.

let me know what you think.

we had to move the light to the center of the room because the plant got too tall and the tops started to get a little yellow. we were wondering what distance we should keep the 600 w light. its sealed in glass and vented

k well i was hoping that someone would notice that the top of the plants reverted back to 3 leaf sets (this is after topping). i was wondering if that means that this plant is a weak strain or if all plants do this... i dont remember from before.

I think the start date is a good choice

Did you pick it on purpose?

The 3 leaf thing i think is that the plant isnt as healthy as it could be so its not putting as much energy to leaf production. at least thats what i think it means but as long as the plant looks good keep going. Also my plants can get within an inch of my 400watt sodium bulb and can actually touch my glass hood i know somebody mentioned the distance fromt he bulb

well thanks guys, yea i think we keep the plant about 10-15 inches away from the glass just because we had two other plants from the same seeds that burned very easly after flowering was started. but yea the 3 leafs were only for a few sets and now they are producing high number leafs. i also read that it might be because of weak genetics, which is possible because it was a bagseed. this sucker should be done in a few weeks. i know we have been slacking on the picures but my camera is at a friends house. but yea next time i think its time for some good genetics.

yeah we though that was a good idea too. we always forget when we start flowering but its almost impossible to forget now. but it just kinda worked out that way but was also kinda a choice.

ok so i just got to look at the beast today. i wish i had my camera with me to so you all what im so impressed with. maybe ill get my old camera working so i can get pictures updated.

but i have a few quesions.

so as you can see the plant is very spread out. so we have a lot of colas that are really long, we probably have several that are over 5 inches where you cant see the stem at all. but all the buds look very airy. we are just about on week 6 of flowering. the reason im asking is because all of our other plants we have grown have had much dencer buds by now. i also noticed that with all the plants from this group of seeds seem to turn yellow verry verry easly. and the leafs are curling down and in on the outsides. the yellow is not too bad but it conserns me.

any ideas? could they just fatten up in the last two weeks?

nitrogen

so i was talking to a buddy and he sujested that it might be a lack of nitrogen. we are using bat guano that has no nitrogen in it. so during flowering it didnt get any after 4 weeks of flowering. the yellow has creped down from the top but has stayed at teh top. could it be a combination of burn and lack of nitrogen? i thought you didnt want any nitrogen during the last half of flowering?

please any sujestions.

Very possible. The Forbidden Fruit I grew last time put on most of its weight in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering.
