Bagz First Grow - Bagseed/All CFL (Lots Of Pics)

Ok, so this is my first growI just finished building a grow box last weekend which is 3ft wide x 2ft deep x 3ft high. I sealed everything with caulk, primed, then painted it then put weather stripping on the door so its air tight. I'll be growing bagseed using only cfls. I have 4 plants about a week old, and I started germinating 30 more seeds, so far 8 germinated so I put them in cups and im waiting for them to sprout. I'm only going to keep 6 plants out of the 34 so after a few weeks im just going to pick the 6 best looking ones. Anyway heres some pics.

Heres my box so far. 3ftx2ftx3ft high

This is my exhaust fan. It's a 120mm pc fan rated at 130cfm.

Passive intake holes. 90 degree pvc elbows with the insides painted black.

The pvc elbows from the outside.

The exhaust fan from the outside.

Heres the box with the door on and locked.

And these are the barrel bolts and locks.

I'll post more pics later when I get some more done. What do you guys think so far?

Looks like a great start. Very meticulous.

I would tend to think that your intake (and possibly exhaust) is too small. I think that the rule of thumb is to have your passive intake double the size of your exhaust. Test out the heat before you put plants in the cab.

Yeah the intake is too small, I'm putting 4 more holes on the other side and maybe a darkroom vent on the back wall. Depending on how high the temps are I might be installing another exhaust fan aswell.

Alright, So I did alittle more work last night and took some pics of it. I also took pics of the inline fan and the new intake I'll be using.

The top hole is where the exhaust is going and the bottom is for the intake.

Exhaust/Intake holes from the outside.

The new passive intake.

The new exhaust (6in. inline duct fan 250cfm).

And heres the other passive intake holes. I added a piece of air hose and another 90 degree angle to each.

I installed the fan and intake and caulked some small nail holes in the box, I'm just waiting for the sealant and caulk to dry then after I paint it ill post some pics. Also a few more plants sprouted I'll be posting pics of them aswell.

Oh and heres a pic of my snake checking out my grow box. I posted more pics of him in this thread if your interested - http://forum.grasscity.com/general/2...ll-python.html

Yea, i like those adapters, they can make it alot easier in setting up lights using the full potential of the CFL bulbs, and not blocking any light.
Great job man, love the setup.

Once again, very nice setup. You've got you box setup better than mine, and i'm almost finished flowering my first plant. Anything in particular you are going to be growing, or just bagseed?

It's my first grow so I wanted to just use bagseed for practice...Next grow I'll be buying feminized seeds..Idk what strain yet.
