Poppin'y my growing cherry!
Hi People, this is the start of my first ever journal, for my 1st ever grow!

My set up is as follows:

1 Small Bud Box (75cm x 75cm x 1m tall)
2 x 250w blue CFL's for vegging
1 x 250w red CFL and 1 x 125w red CFL for flowering (I had already bought the 125w before I found the 250w lamps)
Growing 2 x lowryder 2 from seed in Bio Bizz All Mix with Bio Bizz nutes.

No pics yet cos I'm waiting for my stuff to arrive (already got seeds from salviaonline.co.uk) so next update when I set up the grow tent and do a dummy run for 1 or 2 days to get a base level for temp and humidty. The room I am using has major heat probs in the summer but I can air-con it if required.

Cant wait for the postie!

Dam where you get those bulbs? And how much? Good luck. Feels good to grow it is like an extra hobby lol.

I got the online from an e-bay shop, but I'm in the U.K.

As for cost, £42 and a few pence each for the bulbs, extra for the holders (or you could just make those yourself).

I'm feeling good already, and I've not even started yet!

YYAAAAYY!

My stuff arrived today and I've got it set up. Just waiting for 1 light fitting and 3 bulbs to arrive now (had to get them from a different supplier) and I can get started.

Pics tomorrow (hopefully!)

Yeah, I'm gonna have to vent properly with a scrubber etc but funds dictate a wait!

Should be ok for a week or 3, it's in an unheated garage in a chilly bit of Europe.

Oh trust me, patience does not come easily with these plants. When chiyo was still a seedling I would check on her every few hours to see if something happened lol.
Its ok, I could say its like being a parent, only probably less annoying.
