Flower room measures:- L75" W68" H72" TO 38" APEX Both rooms are controlled via a fully automated BMS system (building management system). This controls all lighting, feeding and ventilation taking into account co2 levels and R/H levels and adjusting the rooms accordingly using air changes or forced temperature control via ac unit to be fitted later. The BMS system is hooked up to my pc so that easy monitoring and history monitoring of temps and levels are capable and manipulation of the room enviroment can be made without entering the room. The veg room temp stays at aroung 26DegC constant, but may need to add some forced ac in the summer months. The flower room has yet to be fully tested with all bays occupied so will let you know the results on that one later, should be ok though. Have got four little girls at the moment, streched a little at first but made a new duch barn reflector last night and they are as happy as pigs in s--t now. They are just two weeks old and have started to give them there first nutes, three times a day at 300ppm and 6.5ph. Started from seed 1 femenised eidelweise and 3 bag seed all started in peat pellets then moved on later into 3" x 3" rock wool. Lights are on for 18/6 at the moment but may take it up to 20/4 yet and see how they like it. Well thats about it at the moment so be kind to me it is my first room after all. My Little Girls
Ok the seeds were sown on the 14th so are now into day fourteen. Lights are on a 20/4 cycle with the nutes at 300ppm and 6.5ph. Temp is between 25.7DegC and 29DegC so not too bad and the R/H is around the 42%.Shall be upping the nute level tonight to 500ppm and see how they go for another week before moving them over to the mothering bay. There is 1 Edelweise femenised plant, 1 Blueberry Femenised plant and two bag seed of unknown origin but they look good and the bag they came from was pretty trippy so lets hope they are females. All change
Ok three days gone by and boy do the teething problems know how to rear there ugly head. Firstly got rid of the converted proporgator from the veg cupboard as not working as expected so will have to do some more re-designing on that at a later date. Have now made another cloneing container, works really well and comes in at a cost of around $25 - $30. The main resevoir is just a standard 400mm square planter pot with a formex sheet cut to fit inside, this gives a good 10 - 15ltr holding capacity for the nutes and the planter can accomodate up to 9 plants. The idea now being that the new clones will be started in the heated propogator for maximum root stimulation then transfered on to the new planter system for further vegging for a couple of weeks.
The new system is again using a dripper feed system recirculating the nutes and 24/7 airation to give plenty of oxygen to the root system. All plants are now in rockwool medium and will be taken to maturity using this method. Will post some updated pictures later when i get back from work tonight but so far so good. Ok it's been a while since last updated so here is the latest.
The original four plants have now become eighteen strong, have got so far three plants at 2nd week of flower four plants at 1st week flower nine plants at 4th week veg from clone and two mommas also fourth week in veg from clone. Feeding is taken care of with Vita link veg and bloom with a Vita link boost going to be added to the flower feed in two weeks time. Have got to do some work on the dripper system's as salt deposits are clogging the lines up now and again, i thinking about geting a nice high pressure pump for the main flower room as i am just running from a salvaged garden pond pump at the moment. With the high pressure pump running i should be able to do away with the drippers and have just open ended delivery tubes for greater flow rate and oxygenation of the root systems. A WORD OF WARNING:- ! DONT THINK YOU WONT GET LEAKS! FIVE GALLON OF WATER ON YOUR BEDROOM CEILING AINT FUNNY TRUST ME IT SUCKS. |

Well after coming back from hols to find 3 stray males copulating with my brood i have now found out that a further 3 were hermes so have had to get rid of them to save my last four pure females as much as possible. That will be the last time i use bag seed along side my femenised bought seeds.
