first outdoor speed queen grow

this is my first grow with real imported seeds all of my previous endevors were all bag seed. i started all 10 seeds and 1 white widow from a friend in propagation cells under 4 full sprectrum floreesents. whithin 5 days 7 of 10 sprouted of the speed queens and by day 10 all but one did not germinate so 90% is good i think . the speed queens were started april 1st . and are now hardened and are in full sun in 1 gallon pots with a promix and good compost ive been making for quite some time. i am not currently feeding them im just repoteing them every few months eventually working up to 5 gal buckets. i am considering though using the fox farm suppliment that they offer. any ideas?

more pics and 1 weird plant

ok here is the new pics one week later . i noticed though a very odd looking plant i have never seen a mutation like this before. should i let it go or should i just kill it? also one plant has some yellowing around the edges but none of the other speed queens show any sign of this. i have not feed them anything and ph is between 6.5-7 . watering with declorinated water . any ideas on this one you all. also i was at the grow store and did but some liquid fertilizer called montys joy juice root and bloom is 2-15-15 growth is 8-16-8 . anyone heard of these at all . if so should i use them or go with the fox farm soil trio?

I too have some Queens going, and one of them is a mutie. It threw off a bunch of curled and stunted growth in the middle where the main growth would have been, causing the first two side branches to take over. I thought about killing it off a couple of times but I just didnt want to mabye lose out on a possibly fantastic plant, even with the mutation. I have not had it show it's sex to me but it's over 2 months old and no sign of male features. One thing I have noticed with these that I have is that they tend to put up a VERY small pistil, that often makes you wonder if it's a boy, but if you are patient you will come to be profecient at determining sex with this strain even befor hairs show. At least I've got it down pretty good in my own humble opinion. I have only started to flower one of them, the only citrus pheno out of the bunch and she is soooooo yummy smelling. I think she has like one and a half weeks left till she is done, I'll be sure to give you a smoke report if I'm not too ripped to remember. I think you'll find these plants to be a little out of the ordinary, but you should be pleased. Good luck to your grow.

Talking wk5 pics

ok week 5 they have really started to take off i have feed 2 of the speed queens and the mutant who is now called (timmy from south park) and the white widow with a liquid 18-6-18 fertilizer no burnning has been noticed as of yet but still too early to tell. weather has been very good here except a one day frost warning last week wich i made them a small temporary cold frame. the stems these plants produce is amazing very thick almost tomato like. few plants have a nice scarlet colored stripes going up them and for there aga they are very pungent even at 35 days old. well thats all to report this week . thank you all who read my posts. would love to talk to some other outdoor growers so if u got time introduce yourself and lets chat . take care all and have a great 420 day.

Wink week 6 update

well as of wed last week they have been repoted into 12in pots after checking the root system it was very apparent that repotting was needed. no ill effects from the first feeding of the 5 i fertilized however fox farm trio is on the way and they will be switched to that . the other 5 im going to leave all natural water only. weather here has been rainy and under normal temps for this time of year wich is really slowing growth as height is concerend but it is growing out very nicely the sativa plant is gettin taller though. will take pics as soon as i have no rain and some dame sunshine.

Nice pics buddy, all but one of these plants look really healthy.
This just shows, nothing beats the sun, as long as the weather is on your side.
Keep it up!

wk 8 update and pics

sorry for the delay in the update. week 8 is going good switched all 10 to there feeding scheduals due to the 5 that wer unfertilzed were growing very slow and had very light green leaves signifing that they were very hungry after feeding them all. a few days later they have bounced back and almost completly have the rich dark green color of the others. no indications yet of what sex these babys are. but possibly still too early to really tell they have seriously increased both in size and water up tke going from 1-2 times a week. now moving to light waterings every other day along with feeding every other watering. ph has stayed a very stable 6.8-7.0. removed the few lower yellowing leaves on the bottom . well thats is really all i can think of to report this week. see you all next week with the next installement.

thank you for your time and reading about my grow .

see me doing something wrong or have abetter way please share im always on the lookout for more info and other tips annd techniqes .

good luck to you and all your grows.

ps. sorry for the evening photos just thought id may look a lil different but wont do that one again.
