2nd grow: Nirvana's Jock Horror

She currently is now 25 days (~3.5 weeks) into 12/12 (she started pre-flowering before i put her on 12/12, so total flowering time isn't much less than that). Supposedly she should take 9-11 weeks total flowering time. My previous grow was white widow, so I'm learning the differences with growing a more sativa dominant strain. Here are the general stats:

Strain: Jock Horror from Nirvana seed bank (a blend of Haze, Northernlights and Skunk...http://www.nirvana-shop.com/jock-horror-p-47.html)
Lights: 250W HPS + 2x50W CFLs for a total of 350 watts. For vegging she was under a 250w MH conversion bulb for 5 weeks before flowering.
Soil: 4 parts Fox farm organic with 1 part perlite in a 5 gallon container
Nutrients: MG 10:52:10 currently at a ~1/8th dosage. Not showing any signs of either deficiency or burning yet. Also supplement with a 10:30:10 that has Mg and Sulfur every other feeding. I feel like this sativa dominant strain requires less nutrients than my previous white widow grow. Not sure if that is normal or not (?).
Watering: Every other day, ~0.5 gallons. I once went 3 days without water and she went totally limp and unhappy. The soil is always totally dry 48 hrs after feeding
pH: In the range of 6.5-7 using a soil meter. And all nutrient solutions are pH 7 when I tested them
Odor control: Just an activated carbon scrubber. works great. hardly any smell so far.
Size of grow room: a small closet, approximately 2.5 ft deep, 5 feet wide and 8 feet high.

Any advice/comments/questions/concerns are very welcome. I am still new to this whole growing thing, so I would love to hear any feedback!

Here are some pics:

dcoully- yeah i'm pretty excited about the strain. she smells great, i can only assume the final buds will smell even greater! i think you can tell the haze is pretty dominant in there too.

thanks mjboy and august for the comments. i'll continue to update as she developes.

Updated pictures from day 27 of flowering. Added a couple of ropes to gently pull two of the lower budding branches away from the wall and closer to the CFL light hanging above them. Figured the closer light might give them a little boost.

you can now begin to see the first developments of trichomes forming around the buds!

^ thanks aw. i keep wanting to think that i should be feeding her more than i am, but since she hasn't been showing any troubles i manage to convince myself to keep the status quo.

is it typical for sativa dominant strains to require less nutes than hybrids or indica dominants? i have been feeding her less than my previous white widow grow, but maybe it's just a plant to plant thing in this case.

not sure about the difference in needs between the two tbh, but the only real sativa i grew (arjan's haze) i made the mistake of feeding too early, by the time week 10-12 came along the soil PH was screwed up.
12+ weeks is a long time to be sitting in the same pot of soil imo, so your better off taking it easy now, keeping the soil "clean" and hitting it harder w/ nutes the last 4 weeks. just my .02

that's a great point about 12 wks being a long time to sit in the same soil. i'll definitely be keeping a close eye on the soil pH in case in starts to decline after a while. i've already have got some potassium hydroxide in the cabinet just in case...

Update: Day 31 of flowering (~4.5 weeks).

She continues to grow nicely I think. Hasn't grown any taller in the last week however, so I think she's pretty much as tall as she is going to get (about 4 ft tall). I'm keeping the nutes the same still, however I have been adding a little (very little!) potassium hydroxide to the nutrient solutions to keep the pH at 7 in hopes of preventing the soil from dropping down over the next few weeks. Currently the soil remains at approximately pH 6.8. Otherwise the buds are beginning to fill out some, and more trichomes are developing.

Have a look see!

Anyone want to guess what the yield will be? Personally, I'm hoping for 2 ounces. I'd be pretty psyched if I got that.

Any comments or advice are very welcome!
