Hello all, thanks for checking the thread out. This is my third grow, but first like this. I lost a place to set up until now.
Room dimesions: 12'x12'
I put 3 1000w HPS in the room, 2 on 6ft light rails and 1 on a 4ft. All hood are vented with fresh air drawn from outside. Ive got two vortech 452cfm fans blowing. One is connected to outside, the other is going to be after the second light to keep the flow strong. The heat from the lights and a/c will be vented into the central air. One of the tricky things I had to do was support the ducting, after a little thinking and a few bowls that problem was fixed. I have a Cap Mlc-4a lighting controller to plug all three lights into, and this was tricky. Im not an electrician but I was able to tap into a 40 amp breaker that supplys my stove with 240v. I of course talked to a friend thats an electrician before I did anything. Luckily the room is right above the breaker box so after a little drilling I had power supplied to the lights directly from the breaker. From this I control all the lights and light rails to start at the the same time from a seperate timer.
The grow area is lined with panda film and duct taped in all corners to seal it as best as possible. I have a Sentinel Co2 controller with an integrated photocell, to control the tank as accurately as possible. Im thinking a 20lb tank will do. there is a ceiling mounted fan to add air movement in the room. I want to be able to control the enviorment as much as possible so I have a 12000 btu a/c. This keeps it nice and cool. i do have a temp controller to turn the lights off if it goes to high, but I dbt ill have to worry about that. Im gonna throw in a dehumidifier as well for the night temps and humidity. Hopefully this will be adequate so I dont have to vent the room at all.
For the odor Im gonna get a charcoal filter to just circulate the room air constantly scrubbing it. For this size room im not sure what size to get so oppinions would be greatly appreciated. For a lil security I have an electronic dead bolt on the door. and my landlord is my mom so no worries.
The room isnt totally done, thats why theres cords everywhere and no plants
. Im germinating 10 Blueberry, 10 Bubblegum, and a mix bag of 10 tmrw. I hope to be able to put 10-15 at first and every two weeks add 15 more. As soon as room is done ill post more pics. And I'd love to hear opinions. Thanks all!!
