If thats not the case you could raise your lights if you really want stretch but that would mean less light getting to the plants, so I would leave it as it is, your plants will bulk up when you up the feeding.

If you want to sex them you can flip to 12/12 for 4-6 days and see what comes up but make sure you have complete darkness on the dark cycle or it will throw the plants off.

You should also think about distributing the light better or rotating your plants because it looks like that middle one is getting all the light. You should also add another light by the plant that looks buried in that net pot because its definitely not getting enough light.

Before i went out today i gave the girl's 1/4th strength nutes, they were in distilled water for 2 days. and now they are sleeping but my systems should kick on in about 2 hours, if i am up i will snap some new pictures. also i went ahead and added one more 6500k bulb for the guy on the left.

UPDATE 5-15-08




so i was pretty busy this morning, my package came in i decided to use the nutes from general hydroponics instead of advanced nuntrients. also i took the advice and picked up some neem oil.



currently : running the lucas formula @ 100%, i sprayed the plants well with neem oil.
we will see how the recover after the changes!!

edit: also wanted to note that for the first time this morning when i woke up i walked into my closet to check the girls. the smell is starting lol and its so early in veg. from the research that ive done, im pretty sure one of the indoor mix breeds i got was skunk #1 its supposed to smell dank throughout. and the funny thing is i think the smell is coming from the little one haha. looks like its time to invest in air quality.

update. 19 days from seed.





the plants made a great bounce back.the new growth is greeeeeeeeeen. the yellow went away after the feeding yesterday.the old growth kinda went away but some is still yellow
i definetly think its easier to run the lucas formula on the general hydroponic nutes. the new growth looks great. on my big plant i decided to start doing some lst. and fimming. i did that this morning,

i pulled about 10 oz's from those 2 plants.. that grow was fun as hell man.

new growth is looking pretty good man, nice recovery!

good to see you also took my advice and rotated the plants a bit and it looks like its working out for you. nice dude. good luck!

its 1:28 am im hammered off my ass on corona's.
i moved my entire set up into a more stealth enviroemnt.
the ladies cut on @ 2:00. the after party is here lets see of the notice.

i checked on the girls they are looking sexy, new growth stinks!!! whatever these strains are they must be dank. ever the NYD didnt smell like that during veg.

this might seem like a strange question, but why are my plants so damn bushy? they arent growing that tall but then again they are young.



any suggestions on sexing?

I had the same concern with the bushy issue. Once I started to flower, the plants have really grown upwards. It may ahve a lot to do with the strain, however, it seems as though it has to do with flowering. Growth was good, but slower during veg. 1 week of flowering and my plants have near doubled in hieght. The interior height of my grow box is starting to be of concern. It is 4ft tall, so I hope it holds up.

From what I have read about sexing, it takes about 2 weeks into flowering to be able to identify. I am one week in and I believe that I can already see that one of my plants is female.

Hey guys, plants are doing okay, Today i decided to go ahead and see what the deal is, wether ive got some dudes or some ladies, they have almost vegged for a month. they are doing okay but on the middle lady she looks a little rusty, i think its a magnesium deficiency, so tonight im gonna throw in some epson salt in my res.
other then that they are growing at good rate and are responding well to the LST and Fimming quite well.

so, i live(ed) in an apartment complex. at the end of this month im moving back home for the summer since im not taking summer classes.anywhoo noo i had my little grow op in my closet. and they are on 12/12 to show some sex (day 2 of 12/12)
so they leave me a little note on the door that says they are coming tom to change the air filters in my closet. haha so last night with a flashlight i transported my entire grow from my closet to a temporary spot in the bathroom. lol its pretty funny. i didnt want to interupt their light cycle so i turned off all the lights in my house and moved my entire set-up lol it sucked but i was baked. so it wasnt that bad.


anyways, now the set-up is in the bathroom. when i woke up i had to take a narley turd, so i drove to the donut place, blew up their bathroom, then got some sweet donuts, smoked a bowl and enjoyed breakfast.


the guy should come around 3 today. so i can move them back before the lights cut off at 8. for 12/12 lol.


anyways i figured i would snap a picture of the ladies from another angle since its easier. anyways

On a more serious note: 2 of my plants have what appears to be a magneisum burn *really bad* looks like rust and has a hole in the middle. i gave them 1 tsp of epsom salt. does anyone know if i need to give them more, or how long it takes the visible magnesium scars to go away, (or do they)?
