| first grow (outdoor)
ok i figured instead of posting so much in the outdoor section i would make a grow journal well on 4/2/2008 i planted 3 already germinated seeds under a normal house light in my closet two days later on 4/4/2008 one of my plants was sprouting the next day (4/5/2008) the other two plants had come up and i was gonna move them outside when they got about to weeks old but i decided i would move them outside 4/7/2008 i know this may seem a little early because they were started in the house but it is in the 70's outside during the day and 50's at night and they are doin good here are pics right before i took them out of these pepsi can (lol ghetto) ![]() i put top soil in 5 gallon buccets and but my babys outside (1 plant per buccet) and when iw as walking outside i noticed another baby beside the stairs going outside i still have no clue how it got there so i dug her up and figured id planted her right in the ground in the woods so i but all my plants outside and well today i go and checc on them (which i do every other day) but today 4/9/2008 the first plant i checc on has been gettin eatin on (the one in the ground) so i proceedto the rest of my plants one is totally gone the next plants is 100% fine the next plant got duh up by a squirrel i think and is buried in soil and not looking to good but still green so i moved it to some woods by my house and i buried it up to the leaves in soil here are the pics from today tell me what you guys think ![]() the plants something has been chewing on ![]() closer pic of the plant something has been chewin on ![]() one plant that was actually fine ![]() the plant that was buried in the soil you guys think shell be ok? thanks blades Last edited by kill3r843; 04-10-2008 at 05:56 AM. |

id loose it, man, not to be rude or anything. after some waterings its gonna break down and play hell on ph levels and what not, take a few good pisses around your grow but not close enough so they can absorb the urine that will kill them with nitrogen. your piss will fend off alot of small animals also some hair works well too, but i doubt you wanna cut out a hand full of hair to spread about.

Ahh! The great outdoors! I have had a few outdoor plants some years ago (had inside as well, but decided to do some bagseeds outdoors on the woods line) when I was country living. I had one that smelled like a box of Fruit Loops. anyway, If you can pull it off, outdoors can be a sweet deal (no limits on size!) just keep those animals away. Do you have deer around? if so, you may want to invest in predator urine, deer will top your plant for you otherwise! We had a leech in field septic system (all liquid absorbs into the ground and solids to the tank, needs emptying like once every 20 years. Old country setup.) anywaaay, I found human piss to be rather useless against deer, except during hunting season LOL. Sorry if I rambled. Guess I'm a Ramblin man. Good luck with your grow.

yea we have alot of deer around here but i dont think they go to where my grow is because the woods they are in is a very big area but it is dense but im pretty sure deer dont go in that small part of the woods because it is broken away from the rest of the woods and around a house but im not worried about people finding my crop because people dont walk threw the woods becasue of the snakes around here

Most people you have to worry about is the ones you show. Don't show anyone. As for deer, I don'tthink they discriminate, once the odor goes down wind, they will move up wind, to the plants and munch. I used to deer hunt in my country living days and it almost seemed that they liked the smell (burning or not!!) 2 years in a row, while hunting in my tree, right after finishing a joint, deer would come right up the trail at me, (would not even get a chance to light a smoke!) Sounds like your not too north (with snakes like you say), hell maybe you have blacktails and they may act differently towards herb. I don't know, I have no experience with blacktail deer. All white tails here.
