Bury them up a lil bit on their necks as they're light streyching. Move your light source closer. Don't tell me you're working with that one floro tube from the pic. Think CFL. I use 4 fourtie eight inch floro tubes, and CFLs. Works well.
MG Moisture control?? Check out my thread on soil Brands. http://forum.grasscity.com/general-i...ml#post2416315 Good luck. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Okay, here's the new set up. In case you were wondering, the pots are sitting on top of Playboys that date back to 1992. Heh
I now have two 75w floros. Close enough now? It doesn't seem too hot. It's showing temperature at their fan leaves at roughly 74. And thanks for the burying advice. Feel like an asshole because I just made a post about that elsewhere. But now I've got my answers. We are going to transfer them to bigger pots this weekend. I will definitely put the tall ones down lower |

So, it's day 17 of the grow as of today (April 14th.) All the plants have been transferred to new pots. Soil mix is as follows: 10 cups MG Moisture Control (I don't want to hear it), one cup perlite, 1/4 cup blood meal. The below pictures are of our best looking (hopefully) girl.

I'm getting something that looks like indication of sex. There just appears to be a small spot of different color around the first node... I'll get pictures when they're bigger because my shitty ass camera won't pick them up now. I've got a question, though: From the last pictures, could anybody tell me if it's okay to start LST? |

Lst
You have a good first effort, just don't rush things.
I would wait a little bit more for LST. 4 or 5 leaf sets is what I have researched as the norm. Keep up the research and plant care, you should have good results.

reflector
After examining you setup more closely, I would think about fabbing some kind of reflector for your bulbs. It should increase the light that reaches your plants immensely.
Even something as simple as an inverted Vee shaped hood made of white cardboard should be helpful (don't risk a fire though).
