i dont wanna sound like an ass but the diy c02 with yeast sugar, and hot hot water is so minute youll need 5-7 just to get any effect really, ive been playing with them for years, their just sticky messy and stinky, stick to the tank setup trust me

than your c02 is doind 100% NO GOOD c02 is alot heavier than air and the c02 goes straight to the bottom of the cab, if its not blown around and kicked wround the plant area your plants are not soaking it in, you should get at least a small fan to keep the c02 blowing upwards, and you probably need some stronger stalks.

well for veg stage i twist the plants 90 degrees each direction or less if the stem starts geting hard twice a week up untill flower, and doober man we just cant agree oh stuff lol yeah it is just a supplemenal co2 but obviously it gives my plants enough co2 or hey would have died when i grew the last two times, no problems. Well it lasts about 5-7 days. I dont use baking soda because it slows down the fermentation, and i want the bottle to put out as much co2 as i can, for doober. I have a tube running the tube to the top of the chamber so the co2 falls over the plants, co2 may be heavier but the roots never seemed to mind it so i guess you wouldnt even know unless you have done that small of a box, and only being 8" deep, oh and guess what i have no carbon filter either huh what omg he dont have a carbon filter, yup i dont the smell is LOCKED into the box untill I OPEN IT WHICH IS ABOUT EVERY DAY, so it only smells when you open it up. the air isnt the best smelling but once they start to flower you cant smell stale air, but it really isnt stale when you have two plants, and a do it urself co2 system, so im not arguing but unless you have tried that small of a cge(closed growing environment) you have no input on the facts. But doober i know you know your shit man, im just saying it has worked for me a few times before so it works the plants only get about 14" tall at full flower but they look like jap trees cuz they spiral around and i got 50 grams dried off of two plants last time and 35 grams off of one the first time

its all good man, i realize ALOT of my posts come out more ass-holish than i mean them too, im a bit of a smart ass and cant help it,

i did a run not too long ago in a 2x1.5x2 cab and tried to use alot of c02 enrichment, i never saw an increase or anything in my growth rates with it really, and did alot of research on wether it works or not, im not sayng it does not work for you or anything, i just came to the conclusion that it wasnt worth my trouble but i love getting other peoples opinions and techniques on everything. im sure its better than no c02

DAY 88 OF GROWTH / DAY 46 OF FLOWERING

So today we decided to start feeding them Fox Farm Grow Big as they were yellowing, so more nitrogen is required. Also, we re-tied them down because they were growing out of the original LST and needed to kept away from the lights.

No pics, nothing really that new. Just bent plants, bigger buds and about 1/3 of the hairs have turned amber. It's getting close to that time

like a tank of co2 look up welding gas in the yellow pages theres probably a place near bye that sells tanks of co2, but ask them about everything about ppm meters they got it all probably depending on what you wanna spend or the co2 w yeast i gave you that laready dude

DAY 107 OF GROWTH / DAY 65 OF FLOWERING

So it's been a while since my last update and plenty of shit has happened. There has been extreme heat damage and all of the remaining fan leaves have been burnt. The ones around the bud are still frosty though, I just hope all the trichromes on the bud are intact.

One plant is about 2 weeks til harvest, so we're flushing it. The other one needs more time to marinate.


BIG IMPORTANT QUESTION:

When the second plant is ready to harvest, we want to keep it and re-veg because it's producing some nice big buds. How do we harvest the buds and be able to hang-dry them and not damage the plant beyond repair?

BUddy you don't need FF Grow Big. Nitrogen Deficiency is normal at the end of your flowering. So Grow Big wont do anything you'll need at the moment. Are you using any other flowering nutes? Sorry if you already said I just couldn't find it.

And I'm pretty sure to re veg you just cut the plant so there are still a few buds and leafs growing at the bottom and then just switch the light back to 18/6.
