That floro tube you started out with wastn actually 75 watts it was 17watts i had one too my first grow they arnt very good stardard cfls work alot better which im glad you have some now, the plants are looking green and growin on whats the cab temps?

The temp is usually 83-85 during the day cycle and around 68 at night (never drops below 68; can be between 68 and 72

I figure it's time for an update

If you haven't seen my post in sick plants (http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plan...bugs-help.html) then I should inform that we have insects (or mites.) Hundreds upon hundreds of tiny slightly-pink too small to identify are in the soil. We have yet to see any on the plants themselves. One of our friends says it's because the plants aren't mature and that the pests will eventually die or migrate.

Otherwise the plants are looking good. The pests haven't make any adverse effects, so we're not really going to put too much stress into it. We both agreed that chemical pesticide isn't for us.

I have heard of the nicotine method. I know that nicotine will disable insects central nervous systems, so we may take one plant away and test blowing tobacco smoke (pure tobacco, not Camel, Marlboro etc), with proper ventilation of course, at the pot. See if that messes with the pests without harming the plant.

We went and got a neem oil spray. I'll be spraying the soil and surrounding area once every 5 days until the problem is gone. Then we're going to transplant them into new soil and pots (hopefully Fox Farm. It'll be hard to find that stuff in Reno) to give them a fresh environment.

One of the plants got a tad too close to the light and a leaf tip got burned to a crisp. The plant seems in good condition still.

We chucked the three sickies. Now the two good ones are going to be in darkness for two days straight to speed the process of flowering. I already have 6-14w 2700K CFLs set up and ready for a 12/12 starting Saturday night or Sunday morning... whenever I feel like starting it

DAY 49 OF GROWTH / DAY 7 OF FLOWERING

Started flowering last Saturday with a 24hour period of darkness, followed by 8-14w 2700K CFLs, 12/12. They're looking pretty good. Switched out the soil for organic stuff. Water schedule at 4 day increments.

DAY 53 OF GROWTH / DAY 11 OF FLOWERING

This is a big update. They're looking huge and stinking like crazy.

We decided to start on LST today with tie-down wire and loop screws. That was if it need support in some region we can just twist the screw and tighten it up. The first two pictures are of each plant. The second two are of the first one to show details of how we LST'd. One is hooked around just below the first node, the other just below the top node. We bent them about 5 hours ago and they're already starting to grow back up towards the light

DAY 70 OF GROWTH / DAY 28 OF FLOWERING

HOT DAMN, they're looking good. There are some burnt leaves because we started feeding them and didn't realize Tiger Bloom is kept at a low pH. Should have read the bottle first

Lots of sexy pistils. It's becoming very hard to keep them low. Tons of LST to the point that they are pretty much leaning like cholos.

One more thing to add, the ladyfriend noticed that the bud sites are starting to look like snow!!!
