update
So my nutes have been on half strength for a week. I changed the water three days ago but kept the same PPM on em. Today I went to add more nutes...assuming my water was fine since I changed it 3 days ago...I wanted to get them up around 600 from 300 or so. Long story short, I added WAY too much. So right away I started draining and adding fresh water to thin it out.I check PPM and it was at around 700. To make matters worse, while rincing off my meter I acidentaly got water in it. So now my nute meter is toast.HAHAHA. I wasn't laughing at the time though. Anyway, I checked my PH after that. I have a dropper PH tester. It read below 4.0
So I turn everything off and start draining to refill. I keep distilled water on hand. The plants were only in there about 30 minutes or so. I ran fresh water for a half hour and then remixed my nutes with Advanced Nutes since it has a PPM guide line for mixing. My other nutes don't. They just say one to two teaspoons per gallon. I'm ordering a TDS/PH combo meter today if I can find one. Does anyone think I hurt em eh? These pictures are from right after. I know I wont be able to notice for a little bit if I hurt them at all.

Just wondering what to look out for.

Your plants look like they're doing pretty good in your previous update. How old are the babies at this point? I don't think you are hurting them yourself, but the low PH definitely is. Ph adjust, 5.7 would be perfect. Plants look good! Good luck with everything!

These are exactly 13 days old from the time I started germinating them. So 13 days ago I put half in rooters and half in a paper towel. I use only distilled water. The ones in the paper towel popped WAY before the rooters. By 2 or 3 days. My PH is back at around 5.6 to 5.8 from what my dropper PH kit tells me.

![]() Of all soilless methods, water culture, by definition, is true hydroponics. It is also the simplest active hydroponics system to set up on a small scale. In this system the plant roots are totally immersed in a nutrient solution. In a water culture system the roots grow directly into the reservoir as opposed to having a remote reservoir. The actual design of the system is limited only by the imagination of the builder. The system must provide means to (1) support the plant above the solution, (2) aerate the solution, and (3) prevent light from reaching the solution (to prevent the growth of algae). This is the system I have going on but I have a H2O pump in the tub and a fogger too.

Update w/ Pics
16 days from first lighting cycle.
I've been trying to chance my water every week and a half. I've been having to do it about every 6 days....seriously thinking about investing in a RO filter.

4th full day of 12/12. Going out of town in two days. Hopefully I'll see some reproductive organs by then. I'll be back in fours days though. Anyone ever hear of pollen sacks growing and popping in four days? That's my only worry.

wow
I got back from vacation yesterday. My plants more than doubled their size in the four days I was out of town. Out of 12 so far I have 5 confirmed females, one male I cut out already. As for the other 6, I'm hoping at least 2 more will be girls. We'll see. I'm surprised they all aren't showing at the same time. They are all the same grass except for one.
Anyways, these are pics from day 11 of 12/12. This is 30 days from the start of germination.
