AK47 X Blueberry Auto F1 + LR #2

After checking the younglings this morning I noticed that 3 of the largest plants have started to show small balls so it looks like I have 3 males so far. I'll let them get a lil bigger and then take them out once the balls are big enough to get a picture of.

I hope the other 3 are female but I'm suspicious of the other larger plant, every time I grow lowryder and there cross breeds 99% of the time it's the larger plants that are males.

ahhh 3 males? if the therories of 50/50 apply the rest are female but that doesnt always work out that way out of my 5 white widows 3 are female, but have you heard of white dwarf? its a white widow auto i saw it on dr chronic some where. but i would like to see a few shots of the male balls growing in.

OK, checked again and I have 4 male and 2 female, I took the males out. I'm a lil disappointed but I do have the six LR #2 on the way so I can't grumble.

I was wrong about the bigger plant left, it was female and one of the small plants was a male.

OK so things are all going fine, the AK X blueberry are well on the way and the smell is something else. Nothing like the LR or LR #2 I have grown before. I think they are gonna stink like never before.

I re-potted the 6 LR #2 seedlings as they are well on their way, all is looking fine so far.

Thanks for the comments all and let's hope all will be fine and I get 4 females from the 6 lowryder #2 or I'll just have to plant some dieselryder.

UPDATE:

OK things are getting a lil crowded in the grow room, I'm not sure why the blueberry have come on so big but I guess it's just genetics. They are starting to flower all over but not as quickly as LR#2 do. Also the branches are growing higher than the main stem. STRANGE!

I kicked out one male LR#2 today and confirmed one female. I hope the other 4 hurry up as I want to get them in bigger pots, all the roots are coming out the bottom.

A couple more days and I should know for sure just how manny females I have.

Some good growing going on there G'kar! The blueberries definetly seem to be bushing out quite a bit. I had the same situation with my ones as well but not anymore. I used LST from a very early stage and was concerned that the bushing out would make the LST difficult...rather the opposite happened, and they are thinning out. I bent the stems to as low to the ground as possible and where the bushing became a problem I cut off the 4th leaves...it seems to have worked. I ened up going half way around the pot before thinking "the hell with this...I'm needing a smoke"...and put them into flowering....6 weeks to go.

Anyway...your girls are looking quite similar to mine, definetly the same strain...do these girls really turn out purple???

Thanks Twist, Yeah it's kind of strange for auto flowering plants to get so bushy. I hope it slows down soon.

Anyhow all six of the LR #2's have sexed out and I have 3 female younglings that are now in the 9L pots so I have 5 female in total. Two Blueberry x AK47 and 3 LR #2. I was gonna plant some Diesel Ryder if I only got 2 females from the LR but as I got 3 I guess the Diesel will have to wait till the next grow.

so what happened are they done flowering yet? i really would have liked too see the blueberryxak47 auto flower out.

OK now I'm in my 10th/11th week and they are starting to produce nice shiny spots all over the leaves near the flowers. I wish I could get a nice close up but my camera is not that good even on macro it's pi$$ poor.



The grow room is a lil over crowded but I'm sure things will go just fine if I leave well alone.

are the shiny spots like little sticky secretions on the leaves?? I get that sometimes and never really knew y. Theyre looking really good man!!

Looking good man. Good to see that the grow room is getting crowded

I have quite a few quite spots on all of the leaves as well. I was tidying up the foliage and touched one of the buds with my fingers. Really sticky!!! I swear the smell got me high.

I've also had some weird secretions on the random leaf...

Your plants could just be transpiring you know it seems like your plants are close togeather so some leaves might not be able to breath correctly at least thats my theory of the secreation problem. so when you gonna startt he desial ryder?

OK, it's been a busy few weeks so updating has been at the bottom of the pile but I'm here and with news.

The Blueberry male I was collecting pollen from was killed after the colletion and my intent was to pollenate and keep the larger blueberry seperate. I've had to call in some favours from a friend as I never got round to making the seperate room. I gave the biggest plant and the bag of pollen to him and it's his project now. We'll go 50/50 on the seeds and I get to keep the buds. Will make some oil I think

I've attached pics of the blueberry I have left and it's a lil sick, I called my friend and he's gonna take it away and keep it with the other one. See if he can nurse it back to life. I'm not happy with them and I dont think I'll grow them inside again. I think I need a bigger room to max them out and I just dont have the space.



So now I have 3 lowryder #2 in the grow room and for day 55 from seed they are looking mighty fine, I have attached a pic of one and a VIDEO of the grow room.
