Looking good man, nice op u have going.

I was gonna say something about ur moms being lanky but I guess thats no biggee, but then when I saw the clones pre 12/12 I had a bad feeling lol . . .

Looks like maybe ur lights are far away?? During veg?? The MK likes to stretch and lank out in my experience so u really want as tight nodes as u can get during veg. Lowering the light will help this.

The op looks good man ur taking to growing very well. As far as temps, IMO u can even get up in the low 90s and they still LOVE it, so I would worry more about getting the light down there closer to the ladies. Youll be able to tell if its too close, and figuring out how the light plays in ur flower cab and how best to take advantage of it is one of the most important things Im finding.

Thank you for the great advice about the temp, gonejah. And, I also agree with the stretching too. During veg, I should've had the 250-watt MH alot closer to the plants. (Like 10-12" away) Now it seems like I'm growing some sativa strain, rather than a bushy indica (which was my intension all along). Anyway, I'm not going to raise the bulb anymore at 12/12. I think at this point, anything getting too close to the bulb, I'll just supercrop bend, or, cut right off. I still got lots to learn... This op is all tuition... the bud is just a bonus!

Week 6 Clones / Week 3 of Flowering

Hello All,

The buds are starting to form real nicely around the third week of 12/12. I lowered the light source to about 20"... It was stretching the plants too much at about 36" before. This should focus more light to the main buds in the center. But, the tall mum that's flowering, I had to bend most of her budding stems down to the center as well. All the budding stems, I'm just bending it into a green wheel around the light. I've been reading up about LST methods and just realized how much of a newb I am at all this. Sorry, if these next few pix seem too "high stress" or cruel and unusual to the plants.

Enjoy!

Week 7 Clones / Week 5 Flowering

Hello All,

Lots of buds! The clones are hard at work! I've been feeding regularly with Tiger Bloom, 10mL/GA, every 2-3 days. Here's some updated pix... Enjoy!

Week 6 Flowering

Hi All,

I'm in week 6 now, with the buds hard at work. In another 2 weeks, I think I'll start flushing. As expected, the smell is starting to become an issue. So, with some hardware wire, black stretchy nylon, and a few ducting parts from a local Home Depot, I made this DIY carbon scrubber. Here's some updated pix... Please feel free to comment or question.

I've been growing for about a year. I had another failed attempt before this room setup, which had all sorts of ventilation, heat, and mildew problems. So, this is actaully my 2nd attempt, but my 1st grow journal.

Thanks again for posting, 3To1ker1.

Enjoy the rest of the show!

Thank you, 3To1ker1. I'm curious to know what the yield will be too. Stay tuned.

Week 8 - Harvest

Hello All,

I hope everyone is safe and well.

It's been a total of 56 flowering days. The plants have been flushed for two weeks and were chopped this morning. I'm curious to know what the yield will be... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 1/2 lb. Stay tuned for yield results.
