the price of nutes vary so much its hard to give you a real answer. I've heard of people growing amazing bud with miracle grow fertilizer. Then there are the high end fertilizers which can cost you a big chunk of change.

the mg all purpose fert. will work ok for veg but come flowering youll need some thing higher in N and P

Hey Doob, u meant LOWERING N for flowering right, not raising?? MG All Purpose is BEYOND sr8 on N IMO and is a great veg nute. Just go really low dosage like the homie said and build up slowly. They really dont need alot.

I know these grows are pretty boring at first, but it's getting a little bigger.

I just found some poppy sprouts coming up too, but not the good kind.. hahah, just the normal flower that ya can't use for opium its right next to my sunflowers

I wasn't really planning on having garlic, but I was mincing some to cook with, and one of the cloves I pulled off had a sprout, so I was like hell, lets see if it will grow, so I put it in a little tupperware thing, and forgot about it.. like a week later I went in the room and it was happy and green. Then I read on here that it was good to have garlic in the pot that you are growing your plant in, to keep away some insects and stuff, so I was like saweeet. hahaha

I'm gonna need to get a giant pot for my cucumber

when she first popped up, she had a like.. a kink right under her cotyledons, but that straightened out over night.. I was like cooooooooooooool. hahah plants are amazing

YES SIR! hahah I got 2 more little ones that popped up, so I guess I'm gonna have 3. I don't know if the 3rd one is gonna make it, cuz its still in the ground and hasn't fully popped up, and it's been that way for almost 12 hours, in the same time as the 2nd one broke the surface and is now standing tall stretching for my light. ooooh my babies

Alright so here is an update. hopefully soon I can get that 85 watt CFL that has 5000K. cuz umm.. I had some unexpected guests take a look
I put some names to my little hopeful ladies. Lily is my cat.. and she is FAT, so maybe my girl will take after the kitty!

Becky and Penelope just kinda germinated and sprouted on me.. I knew they were gonna come up.. but Solitaire on the other hand.. she was forgotten.. Hence the name. I didn't even know I had any planted in a 2 liter, and there she was. I was moving my plants to the balcony for sunlight, and all of them are pretty much just sprouting (all my veggies and stuff) so I was looking at them, trying to remember what was in what container, because I didn't label many of them. and I saw her 2 leaves coming out between her cotyledons, and was like whoooaaa baby where did you come from? MWUAHAHAHA.

So I am definitely not prepared for all on these! I was only planning on 1 plant, and hoping it would be female, but now I have 4. I'm going to have the 3 under the CFL's and I'm just going to give Solitaire natural sunlight. I will have her out on the balcony during the day, and bring her in at night so she doesn't get too cold
