Maybe, but I had 1 impacted wisdom tooth out, smoked as soon as I could close my mouth enough, then got an infection that put me in hospital on a drip for 4 straight days! My face swole up so bad that I couldn't open OR close my mouth and the inside of my cheek got cut to buggery from being rammed into my other teeth. Still, got 2 weeks supply of morphine when they discharged me! ![]() Back on topic, great plants man! +rep ![]() |

gone: It's been 56 days since the switch to 12/12, but 46 days since the first female flower appeared. The way they look right now I'd say they still have a few weeks to go, 18-20+ days or so. I want them to really ripen up before I chop. Somewhere around 25-40% amber trichs. I suppose I could just chop the very tops off... but I'd much rather avoid it if at all possible. The buds that are already formed look so freakin dank... and smell so wonderful. I just wish I could have kept the grow on the same path.
Earl: Dude, your plants were just ridiculously awesome. Like you I got 2 phenos. One is dense, bushy and sensitive, the other pheno is taller, has bigger buds, is much stronger smelling and is a much heartier plant overall. I have a feeling I'll enjoy smoking it more too. Quote:
IM: Nope, first time. In fact I think Earl was first person (outside of Highgrade's personal circle) to grow Purple Cindy. She's a new strain and these seeds were harvested in October or November of 2007. blobbio: Thanks for the rep. I'm still dealing with a sensitive dry-socket but other than that it took 3 weeks of recovery to get back to 100%. Your experience sounds like it was hellish, I can only imagine what it was like to go through. Here's to now having healthy happy mouths!

LOL I hear ya on the nug sandwhich gone, but I was shooting more for nug popsicles
and after doing some more research I'm convinced it was in fact the UV lamp that caused the tops to stretch and the new bud growth to be more wispy. I can't say with any certainty why Earl's and AW's UV lights didn't have any effect on their plants, but if had to guess, it's the strength of the bulbs. The UV lamp I'm using gives off a considerable amount of UV-A and UV-B along with a cooler visible light. Equivalent to the amount of UV-B found on the equator at high noon, and about the same amount of visible light as a 20-40w CFL. It's a mercury vapor lamp with an external ballast. I actually got a tan-line from my wrist-watch while fussing with the canopy while the lamp was on... it's strong....and thanks screwda, I've been messing with the camera settings to get that effect. It's much more solid dark green in person. It's the combination of HPS + UVB + Flash + Camera Settings that give it the white-blue-green-yellow mix of colors.

Wow smoove, just wow. Absolutely amazing grow. I am truly envious of you. I hope that those buds are even HALF as good as they are looking to be.
