The one I found cheap (50) is all wired up and ready to go. Think this will move enough air?? I talked to the dude and he said he used it for one cycle on his 400W and it was more than enough in his closet.

So I think Ill snag it and then I just need a cooltube, thinking of doing the pyrex diy cuz I think its a smaller diameter tube.

So much shit going on lol

I dont want loud . . . should I wait and get a vortex?? let me know for real I dont want to cheap out I want this to be a very nice cab. I was thinking inline but then this offer came up. If its loud I dont want it and I thank you for the info. Ill spend the money to get the proper ventilation so let me know what u think.

The moms are in little pots lol not sure the exact size. The 517 mom is in a 1gallon bag and I just xplanted the og mom into a 1gallon bag as well. Im going to try to keep them in the 1 gallons as long as I can.

if it's a small cab then maybe one of those 6" home depot duct fans would work. Otherwise i'd get a vortex man. The daydon blower is very loud. Works great just loud.

think they're supposed to be pretty quiet . . . When AW said the dayton blower was loud I figured he meant in comparison to an inline fan like a vortex. What do u use doob I forget, thought u had an inline right??

No problem at all dog, its this new cab,

So 80 inches tall by 36 wide by 20 deep. Its a biggn. I actually put it together tonight, everything but the doors cuz I need to get weather stripping. The think is monster man I didnt put a fixed shelf in so in theory I could grow like a 6 foot plant in the cab lol. Ill put up pics once I get it finished, I really want to think about how I want to ventilate it and shit and do this cab RIGHT, Id love to bring air in from outside the cab thru the light and back out . . . cuz then I can do CO2!!!!!!

OH and its a 400W but I MIGHT stick 2 400Ws in there, was gonna ask about that too

Lemme know what u think - lets pimp this cab out!!!

i'd go with the 6" vortex and a passive intake.. you'll never have to worry about circulation or heat issues with that. that would exchange the air crazy fast in that cab. 4" would work as well but then you have to get an adaptor for a 6" cooltube or vented hood.

edit: is it gonna vent out to the same room the cab is in?
