Getting the hang of this [my journal]

Oh my fucking god!!! I keep typing up all my shit and when I go to click the other tab to get my pics uploaded, I click on another science damn link and it deletes all of the shit I wrote. So for the 3rd time of writing another reply...


Gonna try to make this short so my baked ass doesnt delete ma shitz again.

...Germed seeds, they sprouted, planted em, and I planted them in Ocean Forest. My flowering bitches are doin tyyyte. K2 is sick as hell, mix plant looks baller, and Blue Mystic looks like a tall pussy. Gonna pic the small K2 buds in the pics soon. Top cola is huge as fuck, prolly gonna be pretty heavy. Its leaves are covered in frost and the rest of the nugs are swelling so much the might burst with THCmen.

The mix plant is a nice bush with whats shapin to be a nice top. Its got fluffy looking buds, but we'll see how it turns out. Its lowest branches are long, very long with good looking nuggets. Its by far the heaviest weighing plant, when I hold the sides of the pot I hac feel the roots buldging it out on all four sides.

Blue girl is very skinny and tall, shes getting near the light every day and Im starting to lose room to lift the light. Her top isnt very big, but its kinda tall so thats ok. The other bud sites arent very thick and they havent stretched at all but I did take 6 flowering clones from her, that must be why. Leaves arent very frosty.

Thanks for asking that, it made me remember to get my old phone to see if I could recover the date I started flowering. Feb 12th though, so exactly 5 weeks from switching to 12/12.


It also looks like Im not gonna be pickin any buds soon. I just got my mini microscope from Radio Shack. The lowest buds on all the plants are still forming heads on the trichs and a few that have formed heads are milky. I like getting stoned as hell cause I usually only smoke when I'm chillin at home, but I like to smoke before a Red Wings game or before I go golfing, so I think im gonna harvest a few branches of the mix plant when it has less amber trichs. I dont know, Im already excited about this grow!

oh shit man.. you have plenty of time.. those buds will fill in and get fat for sure! Excellent grow.

I do have one question that you or someone else may be able to answer. I kinda want to get rid of the deficiency thats causing the leaves to yellow. Im pretty sure its a nitrogen deficiency, are there pure nitrogen nutes I can get for hydro?

The mix plants leaves have been turning yellow and I could not stop that from happening. I now think I know what it is.... rootbound. I tried to carefully loosen up the roots but I couldnt do it without tearing roots off so I left them out they were and put the plant in a bigger pot. If anyone even pays attention to this, I've never had an issue with a rootbount plant, so will it be okay now that I transplanted into a larger pot? I really dont want to lose this plant this far into the grow, she was doing so great and her buds are getting so big that it would kill me if she couldn't make it.

in hydro id say pretty damn fast, the only hydro ive done is rumplebuckets and root bound is not really a factor so i cant say for sure but id think around 24 hours

Awesome. I usually over-react when it comes to just about everything with my plants, I really thought this would be a hard problem to fix. I mean, the roots have to grow somewhere and now that they have the room to grow they will use it, right?

Damn, dude. Don't think I've ever heard of a plant getting rootbound in a hydro system before. Should I +rep you for finding a new and improved way to mess up a plant? .

Just kidding. Nice catch of finding that. I don't think I'd have even questioned whether or not they were root bound.

Like Doob3r said, they N problem should clear up now that you've got them in a bigger pot. But if it doesn't, GH's Flora Grow is almost pure nitrogen. Maybe splash a bit of that into your reservoir. You might also make a light foliar feed out of it, say at about 250ppm, and spray your leaves for day or two.
