That plant is awesome Jox.

I do all my grows with the light on at night now. My first grow got ruin because my fan got unpluged during the day fried my plants since then I switch to night incase I every have fan probs again. Seems to work out nice with temps for me.

looks like your on your way, may i suggest LowSressTraining instead of using string or whatever to hold branches down, it helps the stems get alot thicker, encourages closer internode grawth & overall larger individual buds......regardless of strain.
(as long as youre providing proper circulation to keep the plant moving day & night)

LST is using string to tie the plant down, thats what it is. if you look at one of my pictures the stem is massive. and it's a very high percentage sativa, so the nodes are going to be far apart either way. but thanks for the input anyways.

sorry bro, but LST with string isnt the same thing, I have a plant in my flowering room right now that is about 5'x5' which is LST'd without string. Im gonna take a pic and post it later so you can see exactly what i mean, you shouldnt ignore this technique cause it fits your grow style perfectly, talk to you later.

i'm pretty sure your thinking of "breaking," or something similar. because LST IS TYING down main parts of the plant to promote under growth shooting up to the canopy. your method is not low stress. but i would like to see some pictures of your plant either way. either that, or you're just tying the plant branches to its self, i've seen my friends do that. didn't really work out to well for the plant.

thanks bud!
the pictures on page 4 were taken yesterday, so they are the most recent. I'll probably take some more in about a week or so.

ok so heres my LST'd WhiteWidow @ about 7 months old under 1-1000HPS
1st pic is the full view obviously
2nd pic is taken from straight up, underneath 1 side of the plant.
no strings attatched, & there never has been.
this plant is supporting 100% of its own weight, & is 2 weeks into flower.

it's the same thing. and you still didn't say how it was done? using string doesn't hurt anything either.

its not the same thing, all you do is bend branches slightly enough so that they dont fold, look @ how thick my branches are, its because there are no strings,
anyhow I was just tryin to help you out a little, sorry for tryin to share my ideas with you, good luck with your grow,
Peace!

i wasn't bein a dick. i just dont see the difference? if you could give a little more info. i might have an idea of what your talking about. but the branches on my plant are sturdy enough as it is, right now. so i just don't see the difference in using strings or no strings, because no one has shown me. so if you would like to share, i'm always open to new ideas. and the benefits of thick stems? other than nutrient uptake? i just need a little more info about your method. thats why i'm a member of this place is to learn new things. but all you have done so far is act like your method is superior to anything else, but haven't shared any real info about it. sorry if you got offended about this, but you should be able to see where i'm coming from on this.

Sorry for the delay

Yeah, the LED grow is going even better than I had hoped...made an accidental clone yesterday, but all is well.

Your grow is going great man, I can't wait for yield #'s. We'll have to compare, and...uhm...trade. For scientific study...yeah, study.
